Re ovencleaning - I dont use washing powder. I make up my own detergent from washing soda/grated cheapie soap and water....

...Hence.....do peeps think bicarb. of soda or soda crystals would do the trick instead? Or suggest some other natural type thing I can use?

Anyways - the progress for the day was I DID get to "sell" that item of furniture to Lets peeps:D and have cleared out understairs cupboard and plan on decluttering/springcleaning that now I can actually get at things in it:D

....and, hopefully, clean the inside of that cooker of mine...:(

Been MIA but I'm here in spirit - Have been reading but not posting.

Still "trying" to de-clutter but I have hit a brick wall. Cannot find a freecycler or gumtreer who'd like a nice round dark wood dining table. Trying all the local charity shops next to see if they have someone who will come and collect (don't have car or I'd take it myself).

I've decided that I have to ebay some of my beloved craft stash too. I love this stuff dearly :o but I haven't made any cards for a couple of years as I no longer have the time - I've been putting this off for a long time but it now has to go, I need the space (there's quite a lot of it!) and the money will come in handy too. I'm wondering if there is somewhere better than ebay to sell crafty stuff that's not too hard to get the hang of. I've started with a few small bits anyway to see how the ebaying goes.

While i've been making a start on that though not much else has gotten done so I'd better get off my harris and do something. Lots to do but it will get done in baby steps :).

PS. if anyones in the Sandwell (West Midlands) area and wants a dining table give me a shout lol :rotfl:

    Hello fellow messies

I haven't got round to any decluttering yet, was looking for a card yesterday and emptied a couple of drawers, then stuffed contents back but of course they didnt fit and I didn't find the card I was looking for.
    Ho Hum.
Washing machine on second load, lunch about to be consumed. Rain stopped so I want to go out and play.

Dishwasher on when I did breakfast as DD collected dirty stuff late last night.

OH actually suggested getting on with sorting out paperwork    so have spent the morning filing the last two years in files and putting older stuff into archive files to go in box in loft. He also strimmed the way to the greenhouse (path is too grand a word for it) which will make gardening so much easier.

Haven't done much else tbh, DD is out tonight and OH will get himself dinner so only me to cook for :j will clean cooker while food is cooking.

Do need to clean my snakes out, so will rope DD into helping as it's much easier with 2 - trying to clean and hold onto stroppy boa constrictior isn't easy!!

I'd like to suggest changing a cba day to a contemplation day - look at what has already been achieved and muse on the future. Gives it a more positive spin :rotfl:

:grouphug: Dodgy hug for PRINCESSX87 and anyone else feeling down!

I am having a good day. House is still no tidier but OH has been to the recycle place with 5 black bags of clutter and baby clothes. My littlist is 3 and I have been saving the baby clothes to do a carboot:o Well that wont be happening anytime soon so I would rather someone else made use of them.

More stuff has been sorted in the back garden also (to go to the tip) but OH has now taken said toddler to visit his Mum and Dad out of my way:rotfl:

    Hi Bedshaped

Have you tried Etsy - it's a site for handmade things and also supplies.
