Good Morning all,
Woke up this morning with a bit of a hangover, walked down stairs to a load of glasses, you would have thought i had a party in here last night, no just a few friends round for a drink
So i have now emptied the dishwasher, and reloaded with the glasses, give the kitchen a once over (got a shiny sink), put the washer on - whoop whopp got no dirty clothes in the basket..... even got one job done that was on my list for today, washed two window sills and frames.......
as for the other jobs i need the help of my hubby..... so they can wait till later...
Ok its now time for me to have that cuppa
Take care and have real good dayStart Wieght 11stone 4lb -0 -

I cleaned mine out in February, and found yogurts that had went out of date in November.
I have a dryer but don't use it as it's in the garage, which is old and full of beasties, and I have to walk to the end of the garden to get there. My OH won't let me have it in the house as he says it's too noisy and creates too much dust.0 -
Dare I say it, my flat is a tip:o
I have made a start on clearing out accumulated paper - already chucked out one bin bag and another is on the go (why on earth do I put paper down and not pick it up again:mad:). I have some cardboard boxes to get rid of too but the stupid students upstairs have filled the recycling bins with rubbish (mainly a mix of condoms and food) - we don't have compost bins or clinical waste bins (I know they have disposed of a ton of condoms because I went to the bin to see if I could put the cardboard in but there wasnt any room:mad:)
I need to run a duster round (I can now see the dust and write my name in it) and vacuum.
My office - needs to have another shelving unit built (I will do it when I have time) and again there is paper to be dumped and old wedding magazines (no point in keeping them as I no longer organise weddings).
Both bedrooms need sorting - the front one needs the bag of clothes to be gone through and sent to the charity shop and stuff can go into crates that I can stack (some crates already filled), the room needs a dust and I need to get rid of a stack of out of date law books. The wedding stuff acquired from auction needs to be photographed and shoved on ebay to get rid (the designer wedding dresses need to be sent to a designer chum oop North when I can afford to send them - she will sell them for me and we will split the profits 50/50). The washing needs to be put away, washing needs to be done (that is in the laundry basket).
The bathroom window sills need to be cleared of assorted bottles and given a good wipe down, the floor, loo, basin and bath are clean. The kitchen needs to be sorted out - some stuff needs to go in recycling bins (bottles, clean cans, cardboard and plastic milk cartons), the floor needs a wash and the thing I dread most the oven:eek:
I shall try and do a little bit each day and stop being so lazy - it has gotten to the stage where I am disheartened so tend to leave it and it gets worse:o
Anyway, I have skived off too much - I need to type the business plan for my new business0 -

This thread is just how the flylady thread was when it was originally started all those years ago  . There were no lists for the first couple of years, just chat and support for messy people.
My house is a mess, and I need moral support to shame me into doing it. I wasn't doing too badly until I got ill and then increased my working hours. I know what needs doing, I just have to be well enough to make myself do it.

Hello Hex :j
I have a serious CBA attitude today!!!
I bagged up the kids stuff yesterday and dumped it in their rooms - way to go Lindsay - prob spelt that wrong too - will check in a min hehe
I've taken some of the washing upstairs ready to be put away but DH and DS are both here today [DD is at her Dads] so not alot will be done and DH is putting a new lock on the bathroom door so that will involve tools and that means more mess
Have a good day everyone

PS I'm thinking of buying storage boxes that the paperwork can go in yearly and be put in the loft and then every 6 years a box can go in the bonfire [contents not box as that wouldn't be very MSE now would it]:rotfl:Projects made for craft fair - 40
1st fair on 13/4/14 :j0 -
Hey Messies - Im back to report - hall and living room hoovered - 2nd lots of washing on - most of bathroom now wiped round.
I have decided that most of my problems stem from having too many clothes STILL! I think it is OHs fault and although he is out today I darent throw anything out. I will have another sort out of my stuff (I am sure I am holding onto too much stuff myself but I have filled two black bags of stuff that doesnt fit so I dont know what else there will be)0 -
Horace a tip for your oven cleaning, heat the oven up for a min then get some washing powder and make a paste then put it on the oven floor and sides, leave for a couple of hours and when you go back the fat ect should come off easily. Just remember to rinse well.0
