it is actually easy to disconnect the washer, but with regard to pulling it out, make sure its empty open door and try and lift the front a fraction, so it is tilted, most have wheels on the back so if you then drag is whilst it is tilted by holding it at the top of the door hole it should drag out, fingers crossed it does have wheels!

    Can I join please?

House is very messy :(:o I can't seem to get motivated, I plan to do housework but get distracted - there always seems to be something better to do and on the occasions I do tidy up it just doesn't seem to stay tidy.

ah, thanks wilf, I'll give that a go - not convinced it's got wheels but I hope it does! Part of the problem is that the kitchen floor is tiled, but whoever did it didn't bother tiling under any appliances  which means there's quite "lip" to pull it over - and I've not been able to afford to tile properly. Good of your DD to make dinner btw, lucky you!!

Hi badger and welcome - love your avatar! :D Sorry I have absolutely no advice at the moment because my head is in as big a muddle as my home, but loads of people here do! :)

    Thanks for the welcome Cat501
My other problem is that I work 12 hour shifts (4 on 4 off) so by the time I get home I really don't feel like doing anything but vegging out:o

Bearcub - well done, you8 did loads! I have a clothes problem too, dire need to get organised somehow!
SoWorried - keep posting, you`re still doing well AND helping others at the same time.
Cat - good luck with the appliances, & remember to feed that cold!xx
Wilf & Buffy- welcome back. Wilf, it`s all too easy to just say `laziness`, but there`s usually a good reason as others have said. Whatever the reason, don`t be putting yourself down because that only makes it worse! Praise (like from posters here) AND self-praise for anything you get done, however small - that helps, really.
Badger - welcome. Part of my excuse is long-shifts too, but mine don`t have a regular pattern like yours. I look at my rota, plan when I`ll get jobs done at home, and then procrastinate .... like now!

The gc has been a huge thing for us. It has reduced my shopping bill by a few hundred a month.:o
I also find that the eating out of the freezer thread helps me a lot.
We can give you a pm kick if you slip if you would like? :p
