Well done snookey! I'm a bit skeptical about mysterious energies, but a decluttered room is lovely to be in, so there must be something in it!

I think there was a really long feng shui thread on Old Style years ago. It's an interesting idea, even if you don't like the stuff about energies and things like that, strip that away and there are sensible ideas about making things more organised and attractive.

Morning, I hope everyone is well x

1st hour today I did the recycling and moved cups from lr in to the kitchen
2nd hour, folded dry towels and put them in the airing cupboard
3rd hour, made the bed, opened the curtains and put laundry in to the basket.
    4th hour, food shopping done
5th hour, dishes done from yesterday :o, worktops cleaned, hob cleaned and slow cooker washed out.
6th hour, shoe rack tidied and dinner prepared.

    Well done soworried!

Late start for me today, just about to nip to the shops and Mum is coming over later, so not much will get done here. Hope everyone has a lovely day, whatever you are up to!

    Hi Wilf
That sounds like you just descibed me except the lack of time.:o

I struggle to even motivate myself to do anything so I challenge myself to do at least 1 task an hour, no matter how small that task is.
I'm sure you will do well. x :)

Hi messies - hi wilf and welcome :):) I'd query whether you are actually lazy!! You're ill - are you lacking energy/motivation/feeling overwhelmed? Soworried's method is really good, I'm hoping to feel well enough to do it soon!:o

bearcub thank you for the pm offer - I'll probably do that once I get my thoughts in some kind of order if that's ok? xx Thank you to everyone else for the kind thoughts xx

Woke up this morning with a sore throat and a thick head, so looks like DD1 has given me her stinking cold - thanks!! I ended up going back to bed for the afternoon yesterday so I should have guessed I was in for it!

Have to sort the kitchen today for the washer dryer coming tomorrow, it's the last thing I feel like doing. Done one sinkful of dishes so far. Later I have to pull the WM out and disconnect it, no idea how I'm going to do it!:(

    hugs all xx
