Spent best part of the day on the phone to G4S again today and only got to speak to a more senior person when I threatened to go to the press  , hoping to hear something positive soon, but not holding out any true hope

Since I got in from work I have prepared a chicken casserole for tonight's dinner, put a wash load on and done some ironing - Nick Buckle's head was underneath every item - quite cathartic :rotfl:

Going to clean the room of doom next - DS's bedroom - don't normally go in there but as he is having such a crap time I am going to make it more comfortable - please send a search party if I am not out in 2 hours :rotfl::rotfl:

'He who thinks he must be obeyed', soworried. I know cos a friend used to call her OH that.

It's really awful that you have to go to that much effort, gilly. Your poor DS. :(

I'm wondering if it's that place with concrete (or are they fibreglass??) cows??

That must annoy people from there, there are probably lots of good things about it and that's the only thing that ignorant people like me know:o:o

That's where I am and they are very definitely concrete and actually quite cute :rotfl:, especially when the pranksters reposition them :rotfl:

    gilly I didn't even notice your location!:o

G4S reaaaally don't need any more bad press do they.....mwahahaha....;) Hope things are getting sorted. Doesn't your DS mind you doing his room? My DDs really wouldn't want me in there lol. DS doesn't mind as long as I don't open any drawers or anything :rotfl:

My friend is popping over - the only friend actually allowed in :rotfl: - I don't need to do anything for him coming but I thought I'd surprise him so I've straightened out the living room, cleaned the coffee table and cleaned the toilet. He probably won't even notice but at least it's done :D

I've been carpet cleaning but gawd, I've probably only done about 3 metres squared and even they're not brilliant yet, beginning to think it might be beyond help. I'm flipping exhausted! This is going to cost a lot in solution. Wish I was brave enough to chuck the old Stardrops in :o

Think there must be something in the air today because I have not felt very motivated either. Went to my youngest sons leavers assembly - my baby is starting secondary school in September which all feels a bit unreal!

Hubby is going out to see a friend tonight and the kids are playing out - yippee house to myself for an hour or so.

Sorry to hear your news Kitty. I cried buckets when my Mum and Dad had their dog put down.

    Concrete cows? Huh?

Keep at those carpets Cat - think how many calories you are burning and they will come clean eventually!!

There are lots I won't touch but making the bed, hoovering and putting clean stuff away is allowed. I will only dust if there is not piles of college paperwork looking like they are in some sort of order :rotfl::rotfl:
