Bearcub said - I've wanted to visit the Minack theatre ever since I saw Neil Oliver acting there. Sadly, although the Cornish scenery is likely to be fantastic, I doubt he'd be there again to add to it!
He was down in St.Ives on holiday a couple of weeks ago, my mate texted me to say she wanted to stroke his hair!!!
Was he now? Mmm, he's not exactly good-looking, but he's the most fanciable historian I've ever seen.

omg I love him, I think he's gorgeous! I've just turned over to A History of Scotland which is on the Yesterday channel purely to watch HIM

Talking of handsome men, the parcel postman came again today...we're expecting quite a few parcels between us this week, I think he'll be getting suspicious..:rotfl:
No demessying to report I'm afraid, though I did take a few things to the charity shop. The carpet cleaner arrived and I've had a go with it but it's going to take a LONG time and a LOT of solution to really get anywhere. You know on How Clean is Your House when Carpet Dave gets like 700 litres of dirty water out of a house's carpets? Yeah, it's going to be like that.....:o0 -

He does nowt for me - just had to google him to see what he look likes.
Sorry to lower the tone - I could get into science big style if Professor Brian Cox just talked dirty to me. I would not want to look at him - but I suppose I am just D-reaming - oh well Things Can Only Get Better:rotfl:
Ironing has not been done - a job for tomorrow before work:(
Now having a break on here before bed time0 -
Thought I best check in here!

Was out all day yesterday (Teddybear's Picnic in the park then visiting my mum for dinner), so didn't really get anything signifcant done.
Today my fiance and I worked well as a team lol. He got a dark washload on when he got up, then later put it out to dry. We got the grocery shopping done this morning, and I popped into Tesco afterwards to treat us to a toastie maker lol
Once home, I scanned (shop+scan) and put away all the shopping on my own (I usually find it quite a daunting task and ask for fiance's help, but today I was determined!), while fiance did the dishes. I then made lunch for us both.
I stripped our bed, got all the bedding and some towels washed and dried. I folded the towels and put them away while fiance put the fresh bedding onto our bed.
I emptied and sorted the picnic bag from yesterday, and fiance emptied the kitchen bin. I then made a lovely homemade veggie lasagne for dinner, and didn't get stressed once while doing so! (Stressing out in the kitchen is a regular occurence for me, sometimes due to poor time management, but more often due to issues that arise with my OCD). So I feel quite proud on that one
Fiance got another washload on tonight which I'll get dried in the morning (can't remember the last time 3 washloads got done in one day - it might even be a first!).
All in all, for such a small list (and for getting a lot of help from the fiance), I feel like something has been achieved today. Looking forward to continuing tomorrow (on my own this time, as fiance is back at work)

sounds like you had a really productive day with not a lot of stress - long may it continue - well done for achieving so much.0

Oh Neil Oliver, its his voice, I could listen to him all day. OH hates him though!
Well done SoWorried. There was a time when I couldnt have coped with going to the supermarket never mind Flamingoland so well done. Next time you are feeling really anxious just remember how well you did.
Gilly, what a great experience for your DS, I bet he will really enjoy it. I guess we never stop worrying about them do we?
Oh and Cat the house is going to look so much better once you get those carpets done. I couldnt believe what a difference it made to my sons bedroom with a new carpet. I should really get our lovely green pattern living room carpet cleaned but keep putting it off.
My Mum gave me a lovely old wicker dog bed yesterday so in MSE style we made a cushion for it out of an old fleece throw and a spare duvet. It was far more stressful than it should have been! I am not a natural at sewing and DS enjoys it but has very little patience. Deep breath. We may have a go at doing another today.
Other than that lots of washing to do, kitchen floor needs a good clean, bedding could do with changing and some paperwork to sort so plenty to keep me busy!
Have a good day everyone x0 -
Well done scarlet raven

Cat, it will look lovely once it is done. Even if it does put us back on hose-pipe ban
I hope everyone is well x
1st hour today I have straightened the shoes on the shoe rack and moved cups from the front room in to the kitchen.
2nd hour, I have put away straightners. It is actually sunny here so I am trying to build myself up to go in to the front and side gardens.
3rd and 4th and 5th hours Gardening :j:j:j:j:j It is still a mess but at least the grass has been cut and is not 6 ft tall now :T:T:T
I haven't moved since, I'm aching after the gardening. Going to leave everything else until tomorrow. I'll get my husband to do the dishes and things.

scarletravens, really well done yesterday!
YL, hubby is just jealous of the divine Mr Oliver's sexy voice!:D I was very tempted to get myself all the Coast DVDs last night, another thing I've wanted for ages but they're not that cheap
Well done with your mse-ing.
gilly you've got that song in my head now, and I as I can't think about it without a picture of John Prescott bopping away popping into my head, it's a bit annoying :rotfl:
soworried I'm going to do your hourly method today, to try and kick start myself. First hour - bin bag taken out and tied up.
Hope everyone is well x0 -
:j I'll read every hour to see what task you have done. It might motivate me to do something different. I seem to be doing the same jobs because they are quick and easy. I really need to start altering the things I do.
