I have done almost nothing this weekend, but the tennis excuse has finished now so I'd better get off my backside.
First of all, a bit of general stuff to get it back to the way it was a week ago. Then, beginning to tackle the Wardrobe of Doom.

    Hello!

    Bearcub - thank you!

Got the ironing done today, even got the washing dried outside cos the weather has been lovely. I've just sat down as i decided to make some raspberry buns and some biscuits after we'd had our supper. I out the girls to bed and they both came downstairs after half an hour cos they could smell the biscuits that i'd just taken out of the oven!

We were hoping to go to the Yorkshire Show on Tuesday but the weather isn't looking vry promising!

Well, the tennis finished ages ago, and I've done not much more, because DD2 called. I''ve hardly spoken to her since she was here 2 months ago, so we prattled on for ages. :o But it was good to laugh with her. :) Then I'd just put the phone down, and a close friend called, because she'd not seen me for 4 days, bless her. I have managed, though, to do a quick clean of the bathroom, and cleaned the hob.

Soworried, you had a good reason for not getting anything else done, so don't beat yourself up about it. You've got a good plan now to keep yourself going, and that should work well.

I don't blame your kids for getting out of bed at the smell of cooking, farmerswife. I think I may have been tempted, too. :)

    Buffy, well done! :T

Possession, the Wardrobe of Doom sounds like something out of a book, and quite horrific!

It really, really is. Voldemort lurks.
And the worst thing is I only have a few outfits and about 3 pairs of shoes that I actually wear.

I have absolutely NO IDEA where this weekend has gone. I feel like I've been really busy but achieved nothing. I think its because I've been out doing *stuff* which takes time but wasn't actually anything I particularly wanted to do.

Yesterday OH and I had a trip to B&Q to buy plasterboard for the ceiling - somehow that took us till lunchtime even though I'm sure we went just after I got out of bed. And it didn't feel like I had a lie in! Took me an age to persuade OH that we had to unload it sharpish because I had to leave stupidly early. Had a family birthday party to go to which started at 4 - was taking my ma and grandma so had to pick them up in good time (read 3, even though its only round the corner!). It wasn't one of those parties you go to because you enjoy it, more for the familial duty.

This morning I did get a proper lie in. Then faffed for england waiting for the WM load to finish. Met my ma to go shopping for the afternoon. Again, nice to spend time with her but not actually shopping for stuff I wanted, just stuff I needed to get. Then home, cooking roast dinner, clearing up (still to do!), walk down the local nature trail with OH and supper and the whole weekend has disappeared!

I think I could have done with joining in Soworried's challenge this morning. I would definitely have made a difference but found it too late (I am NOT starting at this hour!). Not going to have a go during the week but maybe next weekend I'll be able to have a go at that challenge.

BTW, I think we might have to put the brakes on Soworried soon - she's putting the rest of us to shame ;):rotfl:

Buffy that is an impressive list.

    Here's mine:
grass cut (finished just as the rain started)
    15 minutes weeding (after rain)
    WM loaded
    airers cleared
    WM emptied
    Washing on airers
    DW loaded & on
    DW emptied
DW loaded & set to run over night
    Dinning room floor swept
    Kitchen floor swept
Porridge made and soaking for the morning
Kitchen bins emptied (rubbish, recycling, composting)

Also the children came back from playing outside caked in mud so their clothes (& cousins) needed to go straight in the WM and these are now on the airer. Their footware is drying out so we can bash the mud off them (shoes not children :D)
Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent
79.5 coupons rolled over 4/75.5 coupons spent - using for secondhand purchases

Morning, I hope everyone is well?

Possession, good luck with your wardrobe. It sounds like a horror version of narnia :rotfl:

Farmerswife, well done on the ironing and make sure you treat yourself to a biscuit as well :)

Thankyou sonastin, I've done hardly nothing but feel better that I am actually doing anything at all now. :o

Baileys babe and Buffy :A:j That is a fantastic achievement and it must feel very good to look at your now cleaner homes :T

My first hour today I have moved dishes from the front room in to the kitchen and made a cup of coffee.

2nd hour, I have sorted the recycling out.

3rd hour, I have made the bed, opened the bedroom curtains, put yesterdays clothes in the washing basket. Put the iron, ironing board and straightners away that my daughter has left out this morning. Put dry towels away in to the airing cupboard.

4th hour, I have straightened all the shoes on the shoe rack and looked up free or low cost things to do with the kids in the summer holidays.

5th hour, I have done the dishes, wiped down the hob and benches.

6th hour, I have swept and washed the kitchen floor.

7th hour, I have emptyied the bathroom bin and recycled the used shampoo bottles.

8th hour, the finishing line :j I have swept the hall floor and front room floor.

I deserve the glass of wine I have left over. I will have that tonight before bed I think.

Well I didnt do much over the weekend - ended up a bit bored and fed up really. This morning I have:

Put stewing steak in SC to be made into pie later
Updated OH accounts and done monthly bills
One load of washing out, nearly dried and now finishing off in tumbler
Yesterdays washing ironed and ready to put away
    Room dusted and hoovered

I need to go into town to do some banking, go to library, take a parcel to be collected, and hand prescription slip in.

Our poor hamsters must be cleaned out sometime today. Of course its supposed to be the kids jobs but I will probably end up doing most of it.

Grey and dull here today - bit like how I feel!!!
