Am currently sorting wardrobe and really upset because I have had an row with a friend and think it is unfixable.
I have put my chest of drawers in the shed and need to sort out the clothes situation and hope that I find somewhere to put the TV on over night. Cannot sleep in the darkness tonight too much going round my head need distraction.
need to hoover too.
And cry. God I am pathetic.

(((((buffy))))) You're not pathetic! Rows with friends can be heartbreaking.Have a darned good cry - it usually makes me sleep :AGive without remembering, receive without forgetting.0

Buffy, so sorry for you. Hope the new day tomorrow will bring a fresh viewpoint.
Been doing lots of little bits of tidying, relocating loads of bits and pieces that were in the wrong place, which is very satisfying.
Having filled the recycling bin to the brim for last Friday, the aim is to do the same for a week this Friday too. The bin is HUGE so this is quite an ambition!Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... Iv done zip today. OH got up early due to pain so he did the housework.
Rosie I went the toilet this morning only to find a house martain flying about. The cat had brought it in. Looked like it was wounded as it had blood on it. Hoping it was just superficial. Let it out in the front and it flew into the trees.
Yorkshire lass well done. I love the smell of new carpet.
Buffy I bet you can fix the friendship. Dont beat yourself up over it.

Well, I did sweep up the loads of bits from the kitchen floor but ran out of time to mop it and so I removed the worst marks with a wet wipe instead! I washed the shower curtain which revealed that the bath needed a clean but again I skipped a proper clean and just wiped away the worst marks. The bathroom sink also had a quick clean.
Feeling tired today as was out late last night and so I think it will take me a bit of time to get going.0 -
Footymadgal, wet wipes can be so useful, can't they? I'm a fan of the spray and mop product for laminates. I've had all sorts of fancy mops but my cleaner prefers the old fashioned ones. The ones with square heads and sponges don't get in to corners as well.
I'm doing the feed yourself for a pound a day challenge this week, (through BzzAgent) just £1 to spend on food & drink each day, so I may well be doing bits of extra cleaning (as far as I can with my disability; that's why I have a cleaner) to keep my mind off food.
My son eats a lot of porridge anyway, so I bought an extra bag of that yesterday. (Tesco Value 1kg for 75p). Having a bowl of that made with water, plus a Value orange for breakfast. Tea this week will be mostly from a bag of teabags I got sent to test some time ago, put them to one side once the test was over as nothing is as good as Yorkshire Tea. Luckily I have some freebie bags from YT too, that will be one of my treats.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... Buffy hugs, these things sometimes blow over with a bit of forgiveness on both parts. Hope it can be fixed.
I'm having a proper bank holiday here - I got up about 8, had a very leisurely breakfast and put the heating on (brrrr, I don't ever remember such a cold May) and have now settled down with my quilting and the telly.
Happy bank holiday everyone - hope all is well in messyland.I believe in the freedom of spinach and the right to arm bears.

Buffy - if you think you're a little bit to blame for the argument, call your friend up and apologise. If she apologises for her wrongs, then the friendship is back on track. If she doesn't think she did anything wrong, you might be better off without her anyway. If you honestly don't think you did anything wrong, you might not be compatible any more - sometimes folks change and you can't always fix that. Hope you manage to resolve the situation somehow.
Messy-status report. 2steps backwards and I think 3 forwards this weekend. Have had 9 loads through the washing machine - last one about to go out on the line now the rain has stopped. OH has had me moving boxes around in the loft so that he can carry on building works up there. Which has revealed more kitchen stuff that needs unpacking - most of it has found a new home now but there's still some in the dishwasher. Not sure where that's gonna go. OH has been tidying the garden too, so that's looking a bit less like a building site. Living room is sort of straight but bedroom is currently covered in washing that needs putting away.
