My home is a mess

Hi all. Iv been keeping on top of the downstairs . Dog is making mess as he is still chewing.
My tips for keeping down housework, do the dishes every night, wipe up as you go, have a good barrier mat at front and back doors and take out objects that should not be there and put away.
Back to the hospital tommorrow and then look around shops.

hiya all ive been in the boys bedroom all day and got bags of clothes that are too small boxes of books they dont read and tons of toys they dont play with all sat at te top of the stairs ready to go in the car to do a carboot sale tomorrow am going to attempt the daughters room if i have time today

Hello messies!

I've not had much time to post recently although I've popped in some days to read posts. The last week has been busy what with one thing or another. Just to update you on what I got done last weekend above the necessary chores. I didn't have lots of time so concentrated on what would give me most satisfaction. I cleaned above the two windows in the kitchen where a horrible black film had developed over the winter. I also gave the tiled windowsills a good clean. The windows are almost 6 foot long and so cleaning up these areas made quite an impact.

We bought a laptop at Xmas but hadn't actually used it so OH was sorting that out on Sunday. The plan is eventually to get rid of our other computer, tower etc. which will mean we won't need the desk anymore or at least can get a smaller one. Anyway, while I was out visiting, OH decided to start dismantling the existing computer (everything was everywhere!) but at least he'd vacuumed under the desk and wiped down the old computer equipment. So all I had to do was give the desk a clean.

As the sun is shining today, I'm in washing mode. I've got some washing on the line and another load will be joining it soon. I've also swept up bits from the kitchen floor and I'm going to vacuum the stairs in a moment.

Hi messies! I'm celebrating the beautiful day by making even MORE mess in my house playing store cupboard tetris in order to get the lawn mower out... unheard of in March for me.

The house is a bomb site but I shall do as my ancestors did and make hay while the sun shines!

has been quite stressful here. Kind of ok now but have loads to do. We are getting two little puppies tomorrow and I am freaking out about all the things I have to do and the fact that it is quarter to 3 already!

Hi all, I've tidied up and am today making my way through several loads of washing. Had a quick tickle round with the hoover but proper cleaning is still being put off (except essential hygiene).

done two loads of washing (same load twice, it wernt clean )
done dishes
bathed ds
done dinner
took the rubbish out (finally! its been in the kitchen for like 3 weeks)
spent time with elderly neighbour
helped my friend at a carboot

Still slowly plugging away at the garden...poles have now had several coats of paint. Washing line imminent...:T My dad has pointed the circle and started to edge the borders. Looks like we'll still have some bricks left-they would tidy up the other side of the garden too, but I hardly dare ask :eek:

I have been very un-MSE today. I have decided that it's too late to plant seeds, and the house is already slipping as I'm struggling to do everything. So I've been out and bought tomato and pepper plants...despite already having the seeds, pots, electric propagator....:o I'm so tired... A week to the holidays and it feels like it might as well be a month

But I'll get there...one day, one thing at a time. We always do, don't we? Messies...on and up!
