You should have seen them in the shop! At one point they teemed up with another boy and girl and a spinning pouffe and it was like a playground (this was just before I gave up trying to get them to behave a little lol, and left the shop!)

It's a very odd idea, Adela, and even more odd is the rotating armchair on the same page. Why on earth would you want to?

Lovely bright but cold and windy day here. I have, successfully this time, made a loaf in the BM after yesterday's disaster - and very tasty it is, too. Tied up some daffs that got knocked over by the rain, and loaded the WM. Too late to put the washing outside, but I think it's too cold to dry much anyway. I've started (so I have to finish) cleaning the kitchen work surfaces and re-arrange containers in the food cupboard, as I don't have space for the new containers for the bread flour. Must change the bedding, too.

    hello everyone

I have just come across this thread and hope you don't mind me joining you. My home is a mess as I started decorating my bedroom when I had time off work in the half term. The problem I have is that I have not finished it. I have got decorating sheets still down in the bedroom and a corner of the kitchen filled with paint pots rollers ect. I need to kick myself up the bum to get something sorted.
Am hoping if I write it done along with some other jobs I may help.

    Finish painting in the bedroom

clear away decorating items from the kitchen

I have a day off on Weds and am hoping to get it together then. anything that I can do in before Weds will be a great help.

I can imagine. :rotfl: Very encouraging of your OH, not. :(

Welcome XYZ. We are here to encourage you, and you can get it done, really you can!

I have sorted the food cupboard, again, changed the bedding, and hung the washing on the drier. Nothing else, as I had to help Mum. Honestly, she had carpet fitted in her bedroom this afternoon. Could she wait for us to help move the furniture back? Nope! I only found out what she was doing as I called to ask if the fitter had been. She's a very fit 83, but even so.

    Minor detail! :rotfl:

I don't 'do' children, you may have gathered. Loved my girls and, in the highly unlikely event I ever have GC, I'd probably love them, too. Otherwise, kids scare me a little. ;)

Oooh....somebody is at home all day but it's YOUR fault the place is untidy?? I hope you get flowers for that later, Adela xx

    Well, today I have:

    Finished digging out the path.

Packaged and post officed some ebay items.

Replaced my bent and rusty hanging basket bracket with a smart new one (bought yesterday).

    Lined the front door curtain.

Ordered a chart I'm planning to cannibalise for a project I don't have time to do.

    Housework? What housework?:o:o:o

Sorry Iv not read all posts but will later. Anyone needing one hugs.

I finally plucked up the energy to clean my nine year old dd room. Took a few hours , one binbag of rubbish and a binbag of clothing. I was not sure if the clothing had been worn or not so its all being washed.

Dog has scratched me to bits due to the previouse owner failing to keep his claws short. Being a puppy he is hyper and bounces everywhere . It doesnt help he is at least four plus stone. Saying all that I love him to bits.

Im going to clean the bathroom in min as its looking manky and Its one room I like clean. Ill right my to do list tomorrow.
