Right everyone, lets all send some positive vibes to MM at 1pm. Good luck! Just remember that you are interviewing them as well and keep telling yourself you are as good as anyone to do this job.

Helen, we are really skint this month too. I got a £50 Next voucher for Christmas and have ordered £110 worth of stuff. Of course I will send some of it back wont I?

DS2 hasnt got any lessons today or tomorrow so I should really be doing something educational with him but he is tired and I dont have a lot of motivation. And that ironing still needs putting away!

Going to check the online banking and then get off this computer and do something useful.

Oh Frugal, I feel for you. I lost the MOT certificate for hubbys van once. When he came to sell it I ended up having to pay for a duplicate. I would love to say this taught me a lesson but I am still really bad at organising our paperwork. My excuse is that we dont have enough room to store it all properly but I should try harder.

Frugal - Deep breathing is needed. Start in one room and methodically work your way around it, then move on to the next etc, be calm and look in all the corners, it won't be in the loft cos you don't like it up there! Search your name on herre and see if you have posted about your tax returns [I know you have] maybe a post will come up with where you have put it,

    Helen x

ETA - well done on finding it
Projects made for craft fair - 40 :)
    1st fair on 13/4/14 :j
  • MM - fingers crossed for you today - you sound good!
Frugal - lucky you with the motivation.

I`ve now got a lovely FULL log-shelter, I keep going out to look at it! I`ve had a quick tidy in LR, kitchen not too bad, and gathered a load of stuff for a skip-run. Hurty hip much better, didn`t keep me awake & just a little twinge this am, but I`m proceeding with caution. And it`s a good excuse, too!

  • Frugal - glad you found your box!
I`ve been rummaging to find receipt for DDs laptop (an early Xmas pressie as she needed it for her course) it`s gone wonky but still under warranty) Still can`t find receipt but I waded through MANY bank statements and various junk mail, eventually found the card transaction - apparently that will suffice. This is the down side of being a Messy! On a happier note, I`ve now got a lot more paper to take on my skip run - when I find my shoes!

Frugal - glad you found your tax stuff. DH was annoyed at the weekend as he'd planned to blitz it and found HMRC had sent him the wrong documents so he had to register for some more to be sent. At least, theoretically, he's done the work for it now (the children and I had to escape the house on Saturday!) and it should just be a typing in numbers job. Honestly, he's a qualified chartered accountant, you wouldn't have thought it would be that big a deal!!

Right, interview is at 1pm today, it's a company I know fairly well selling a product I'm passionate about so at least I know I can do the job. I'm really praying I get it, money is running out fast and no sign of JSA :( Have a lovely day everyone, I'm fighting the urge to go get ready now because I know I'll end up covered in dog hair if I'm ready too early

Messy Mare Good luck with the interview, you sound really passionate, hope it goes well. Got a few reduced bargains in sm, gonna quickly update my GC sig and then set about my tasks for the day.

Its a horrid job doing tax returns - my ex always used to do them for me so this is the first one I have had to do! I got part way thru and panicked as I just didn't understand it  Thankfully I phoned a good friend and she went thru all the questions with me over the phone and its all filled in except for the figures! At least that is a relatively simple job.... once I find the book with all my figures in :o No idea where that is and its going to be like looking for a needle in a haystack in this house

Still... I still have 18 days or so to get it finished! Finding the box with ID and password was most crucial to get done as if I had had to request them again, it would have taken 7 days to arrive and that would have sent me into a blind panic.

    So.... breathe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have filled a black sack of junk and am now going to tackle the DW.

Will post back shortly with an update - I really need motivating by you lovely peeps today :A
