(((huge hugs))) Rum...I was going to post some gratuitous photos of my ratlets but think I'll hold off for a while.

Today has been fairly productive. I've got myself a page a day diary so plenty of room for plans. Given myself a timed schedule for Monday, I need to stop my weekdays from slipping into black holes and start being productive.

Have hoovered the lounge and cleaned (sort of) the hoover filters. Dusted the lounge and helped OH split logs and fill up the wood store from the pile at the bottom of the garden. We then took the dog for a walk down to the sluice, it was lovely. I think he's actually enjoying having me at home. He brought his photo box down and we found some old photos from our first go around (we were together for a year then split up for a year) OMG we were so thin! I think I'm about to be put to work scanning them though, not fun!

This is Crumble - you can just see Apple's bum

This is Apple - she passed away earlier this year but it was for the best, she was quite ill in the end. She was our little tarmac terrorist, Crumble would sit on my shoulder in my hair for hours, while she'd tear around the house for hours.

And for the dog lovers, the current source of much shedding dog hair:

Aww bless :) My sister's friend had a JRT pup who used to sit on my forearm and fall asleep...such sweet dogs :) Our family has always had bigguns - Mum had two GSDs (one long coated) and a standard poodle, and now I've got R, who's tall enough to put his chin on the dining table and certainly takes advantage of that! Not as big as your son's lab though, R reaches 5'8" on back legs (paws on my shoulders :) ) I love talking about dogs :) I've been able to talk to so many more people since I got him (cripplingly shy), he's so good for me.

:D What gorgeous rats and I just adore your dog! Grey hounds have such emotional and trusting faces :D

The kitchen is looking better and the washing machine and tumble dryer are buzzing away in the kitchen.

Now I can take a few mins to rummage in my seed tin to see if I can clutter the window ledges with seedlings yet ;)

Oooh Rummer, what seedlings are you planting? I'm supposed to be planting this year as we have our very own garden, but I really haven't got a clue! I need to throw myself at the mercy of my very old school Aunt who knows about these things
