Got hold of the long haired moggy and cut more tats out. The problem with her is that she is so lazy and so her fur gets clogged up with twigs and bits causing tats. Our other long haired cat keeps her fur lovely but not this one. Has gone on top of the kitchem cupboards sulking. So Emm I can sympathise with the hair on the mats as our four cats leave it everywhere.

Iv not done anything else apart from put two loads of washing in and stuff my face. I must stop eating sweets and other sugar or Ill end up rolling rather than walking. Also I hate seeing people now as Im carrying extra weight.

    Sleep well everyone.

  • Blimey, there has been lots going on in a couple of days! Welcome along to all the new messies.

Its quarter to five in the morning and I have been wide awake for about an hour and a half so decided to get up and make a cuppa. I will probably regret this later in the day but I just know I am not going to go back to sleep!

There seems to be so much going on in the run up to Christmas that I am only just keeping on top of the basics around the house. Might get some time to do some cleaning later today.

Went to the school Christmas fair last night. When we got home DS gave me a little hand knitted duck he had bought me! Its so cute - he was going to give it to me for Christmas but couldnt wait. He is such a treasure and I am so lucky to have kids - even if one of them is poorly and needs looking after!

Right, might sneak back off to bed for a bit. Its bloomin cold in here!

Phew a day off today due to the schools being closed as a storm is hitting Scotland

Going to make it a semi productive day so that I can relax at the weekend. My plans are to do lots of laundry and to wipe things down as most of the downstairs is reasonable. My room however is pretty grim so I may save that for later!

YL - how lovely of your son - brings a tear to your eye when they do something like that and it makes all the hard work simply vanish into the yonder!! What a laovely, lovely lad he is

Hairy critters - my dog has longish hair [cross between a Collie and an Alsation] I am ALWAYS having to cut away the hair behind his ears and in his knickers!! He's so naughty though, he won't let me do it unless I have a pile of biscuits on display for him to munch once I'm finished lol.

Thanks for the thoughts everyone I'm a whole lot more motivated today!!! I'm changing round the LR to get the Xmas tree in - can't get it in unless the coffee table goes and the bookcases with all the CD's, DVD's etc are moved to the DR - half way through it all and will get it finished tomorrow.

Xmas shopping will be finished next week before kiddies break up

DS got a Special Teachers Award at an Assembly on Tuesday [we were invited to it] he got his award for his "Acting Skills" in the Xmas Play - we haven't seen it yet but apparently he is fantastic! Teacher said that he was the best and that he could be an Actor - nearly decked him when he said it - can't afford Uni let alone supporting a struggling wanna be lol He's only 9!!

Well, onwards and upwards - the dust bunnies are calling

    Have a lovely day everyone

    Love and hugs to all

I've not been on in a couple of days as its been a stressful few and I haven't got anywhere with cleaning! I've been pretty much offered a job (depending on how well meeting the child goes on sat) which is bringing all sorts of stress - children, dogs etc but it is good news . I must get the house sorted though as working and a mess is not good!
