Is anybody else embarrassed that we can't manage to keep our own houses clean and tidy but within 10 minutes of being allowed access, the people of london had managed to clean their streets of all the debris from the riots :o

I'm going round my house with a black sack tomorrow and am going to be ruthless about what goes into it!!!

Well I did manage to get some ironing done last night - 3 hours of it!! Still not finished, pile now only covers one sofa ;)
Did manage to clear the two piles that were on the ironing board, and the load that covered the dining table! I may go for it again tonight and get it all finished if I'm not too tired. I got to bed at 1am after the ironing and my bath, then back up with DS and 5.45am

It may need to be an early night tonight.

DS's bedding is in the machine, porridge on the stove.

MUST GET DOWNSTAIRS CLEAN TODAY - have people over tomorrow

    Morning everyone

Spam also reported - bloomin cheek!!

Well so far this morning I have managed to knock my coffee over and it spread everywhere on the worktop so that is now sparkly clean lol

Very blowy here today so a fine morning for getting the washing on the line if it stays dry. We are meant to be going out to Salcey Forest later so I'm hoping the rain holds off as my DS is going stir crazy and needs to get out and run around but I can't afford to take him somewhere expensive so we are weather reliant Grrrr

Off to do some tidying in the kitchen and get the washing out

    Have a lovely day everyone

Morning all, I came here because i know from reading the threads that there are some decent people left in the world somewhere.I woke to find that some lowlife has stolen the wheels off my car!!! Its only a T reg Almera but clearly anything is at danger of being tampered with or stolen.Feeling fed up and annoyed.I was in the process of decluttering stuff to the charity shops but there is no way i can do that until i buy more wheels.rant over, thanks for reading.

    Hello Messies!

What great motivation I have had today, an old friend was coming to visit so the public areas of my house are tidy and spotless! Now I am relaxing with a cup of tea and some cake content in the knowledge that my house is part way tidy! Yay!

Hart - fingers crossed for you for the 18th
    Rummer - well done

I took the kidies to Irchester Country Park today, we got caught in the rain and got soaked but it was worth it just to get out!

Came home and got a headache!! Couldn't be bothered to cook tea so we went to MacD's and then on to MrS

Also managed to do some ironing this morning

The house is still an absolute tip but hey ho there's always another day to do it
