((Hugs)) Sequeena hope you're feeling better soon.
Had a busy weekend shifted 4 HUGE bags of slate & gravel (we're not very big on gardening and have opted for the low maintenance option!) and DH finally chopped all the odd bits of wood we had lying around ready for winter. My garden is finally looking pleasant enough to sit in now!
DH is off this week with DS and is under strict instructions of no computer or TV all day! Not sure how long that will last they're as bad as each other. He's been given the recipe for tonghts tea, which he will make (he's actually a better cook than me!) but I will still have to clean up when I get home from work. He just wouldnt think to unload the dishwasher or clean the kitchen. Oh well I guess I cant expect too much after all he is on holiday!!0 -
Morning all
Hart - hope the Doc app goes well
Sequeena - hope you are feeling better
Been on a roll this morning - have hoovered kiddies rooms, hoovered the landing, put all of DS's carp on his bed and he is up there now tidying up before he is allowed to play!! Oh I'm a mean mum
See you all later

Hello all, just back from my holiday (well, we got back yesterday but were feeling too tired to do much other than the washing, and luckily were invited to a friend's for a BBQ unexpectedly so that took care of dinner
).
The house looks such a tip (well it is) after being in a nice rented gite for a week where space and cleanliness abounded.....the plan is to try and tackle a cupboard or set of drawers a day until it's looking a bit better.....0 -

My OH is military, has OCD and the s*dding house has to be STERILE before he stops nagging. He hoovers everyday when he gets in and tells me off for not being houseproud. He has to disinfect the whole kitchen before he cooks as well.
...Please don't tell me that I'm lucky. He's so close to getting a Dyson enema... If I hear, one more time, that I'm a) lazy, b) a slob, c) unhygenic for not being a odd as him (I think hoovering once a week is fine if you have no pets. Am I evil?).
Oh yes - he cleans everything apart from the loo, when he's finished. He leaves THAT for me...0 -
