That's it Helen, no more hoovering for you ever lol!

Today I tackled the carp job. I put gloves on, grabbed my pumice stone and scrubbed the nasty limescale off the bottom of the loo bowl. Skanky. Then treated the bathroom to a full on clean.

Am making an effort as its dd2's birthday party on Thursday afternoon!

    Hey Messies!

It's been a poor day on the cleaning front for me, food shop, put a washing load on, hang it out, chilled in the garden reading my book for an hour or so......and that's where it ended!

Hoping to have a better morning tomorrow. I'm on a late shift, so I'll need to get most things done first thing. I think I should make a list for myself otherwise I get distracted :-)

    Hi Messies

Well its been raining here for 4 days now grrrr so washing is being tumbled - which is making the house unbearably hot but it has to be done 10 days til baby is due! did 2 loads yesterday

have 2 ebay parcels to post and have to pop to the hospital for test today

went to hairdressers yesterday and then remebered why I haven't been for 6 months hair looks fab but I hate people touching my hair!

Bathroom cleaning today and general tidying about - its not too bad now but it does seem a bit dusty.

    Have a good day all

    Good morning everyone :D

I don't know where time goes :o I seem to only get time to catch up and post 1st thing in the morning while having my coffee :(
It's not like Im cleaning all day either but I did get a 2 loads of washing done yesterday as well as hooved the LR and K.

I have just put some cleaner liquid on my hob to soak the burnt water off, I filled the saucepan too full when doing new potatoes last night and they boiled over :o now I have that to clean this morning :(
I need to cut my lawn today and my car needs a good clean as it looks like a traveling dustbin at the moment :o

I don't look forward to work tonight if it stay as muggy as last night, Im dripping after hoovering the center for an hour :rotfl:

Helen :) Im forever catching wires in my house as my OH is gadget mad and leaves stuff all over the place :(
Crowdpleaser :) I don't envy you, I hate cleaning my loo and I think Im the only one that does :( I keep telling my lot I won't let them use it if they can't give it a wipe around now and then :( I keep those anti-bac wipe near the loo so it's not like they have to do too much work
Natile :) I need to get my hair cut but like you Im so fussy, I think I have been to nearly all the hairdressers here but the ones that are good are so expensive :( Hope tests go well today :D

Well I had better go get dressed if I want to do something today :rotfl:
Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a time :) and Love sewing :)

Sighhhh....must be bothered, must be bothered...I did manage to hoover yesterday and do a load of washing and washing up so that's good. Did sleep on the sofa as I got a bit angry at OH last night....he doesn't like that when I bake I usually only leave a few cakes/cookies for us and give the rest away to family and friends. He thinks I shouldn't bake at all if I don't leave it all for him...the only thing is he usually eats mine too, so I put all the effort in and don't even get to enjoy it. He has some sort of weird relationship with food I think :(

Oven is being delivered today, so must get the kitchen tidied, and a friend is coming over too so better get the house looking semi presentable (even if the dog does insist on laying on his back on the sofa, legs akimbo)

Natlie- I struggle with getting my hair cut- mine never looks fab though :( hairdressers really seem to struggle with curly hair...

I'm a bad messy (or maybe a good messy?) - I didn't get much done yesterday, but it was so hot I thought I was going to keel over, so I had to just sit on the sofa and catch up on some telly ;)

Hopefully it'll be a bit cooler tonight and I can get some dishes & laundry done at the very least
In a better financial position than ever before (thank you MSE!). Moved back to Scotland and now trying to keep debt-free!

I think its just pregnancy hair TBH my hair never usually looks good - will probably fall out once baby is here and look all limp and sad again.

Washing is on, dishes in the dishwasher, ebay parcels packed and bin men have been. Was thinking about taking DD to see Cars 2 in cinema but feeling a bit niggly, she is watching Shaun the Sheep on iplayer now so will see how bored and naggy she gets after - school holidays are far too long!
