    Morning all

We're off for a walk in the woods and then a picnic so no housework this morning or afternoon [probably none this evening too] lol

Knitted a phone cover/bag thingy yesterday and now DD wants one so there's my excuse for not doing anything later

Have a lovely day everyone - its boiling here

I slept on the sofa too last night but thats because it was too hot to sleep with DH - not cos he's a hunk but because of the weather hehe

Well I have achieved miniature greatness today and even tackled a few jobs I have been avoiding like the plague :D

Now all I need is for my family to grasp the concept of tidying up after themselves and my home could be half way decent :rotfl:

Ha Ha Good luck with that i have a feeling you'll need it lol.

Is it just my lot or what but when no one knows where to put anything or they want to get rid of stuff why do they think on my bed or dumped in my bedroom is the place to leave it.

Well the grandkids went to the cinema last night we paid for 3 of them to see harry potter with their dad /uncle and the baby stayed here . Then they went home about 11pm and were back by 9 am lol my wedding anniversary today 31 years and i spent it making lunch then tea for 10 people i must be crazy.

sentora my oh laughed at the thought of doing the housework naked but he said as long as we feed em they probably wouldn't even notice . :rotfl:

The only pain of the day has been coming home to a sink full of washing up  was not happy with my lot, they soon cleared it :rotfl:

    Evening all

We had a lovely day at the woods/picnic place - finally got home at 4pm tired, hot and dusty. DH made tea even though he was suffering from the heat.

Tomorrow will be interesting as we are going to pick up 2 green leather armchairs to replace the green 2 seater sofa that is very manky [blame the dog] it means completely rearranging the layout of the LR to accommodate these armchairs so there will be alot of dusting, hoovering and swearing as we move it all around, that is, if the armchairs are ok as they are coming from someone on Freecycle. So by the end of tomorrow the LR should be hunky dory!!

Off to bed in a mo

Have a good day everyone tomorrow

Surprisingly, I managed to get a load of dishes done tonight, despite the heat. We also made pizza for dinner, using sone of my homegrown basil in the sauce! Still waiting to see if my chillies grow in, and now I have also planted some radishes *fingers crossed*

Now I'm off to see if I can sleep in this heat!
In a better financial position than ever before (thank you MSE!). Moved back to Scotland and now trying to keep debt-free!

Hi all. Went to the shops for some tshirts for hols. Some really good buys as most places had sales. No housework though as I could not be bothered.
Had some bad news re; youngest brother ,he has MS. If it does not rain it pours:(.

Hoping I can get my act together wed as the house needs a deep clean. Carpet on stairs and the rugs need washing. Also need to wash the windows at the front before they are no longer see through.
Want the house smelling nice before we go away as the outlaws will be here.

Its gone cooler outside but house is retaining the heat. Fan on me thinks.

You know I was thinking back to father christmas visits by my children, prompted by a xmas thread . My outlaws had taken my dd to see the magic man , on arrival back my outlaw mother said that she would no longer be taking her. My dd had asked him not for a doll or bike ,oh no, only if he had farted !!. Outlaw said she was mortified.. :rotfl:. My so polite three year old.

    Anyway take care everyone.
