Hi all. I've had too many cba days so left the lappy off sob sob and got stuck in. Cleaned all the worktops , scrubbed the george foreman, cleaned the fryer, ran the dishwasher (oh didn't think i knew how to use it. ) swept the floor but needs washing still. Just need to clear last few bits of carp off the table then that's that done. Still rejigging stuff in the living room but it's staying mostly clutter free.
oh put the new loo seats on and i still have one bathroom needing a deep clean the one my 19 year old sons use so i may be gone a long time when i tackle that. lol
Helen jelly enjoy your hols.

Well I have been like a woman possessed this week, lol!
On Monday I zapped the spider which is now in the vacuum cleaner, along with all cobwebs and dust from the lounge and hall, and also wiped away the cobwebs above the stairs. Did a couple of loads of washing, which almost got dried before it started raining yet again, so finished it off in the tumble dryer. I got lots of cleaning done in the lounge and most of it is now sparkling! I even cleaned 2 of my CD racks, and the CD’s which are in them, but still got the 2 big ones next to the dining table to do yet. I couldn't believe how dirty some of my pictures were, lol! Also while cleaning, I found my old mobile phone which I've been looking for, for at least a couple of months, it was on the shelved storage unit that I have some videos on, which is right next to where I sit every day, lol!
Yesterday I did some more washing, but it hacked down with rain before I could get it in, and it’s been raining on and off today, so that is still out on the washing line soaking wet! Did a bit of ironing as I didn’t get any done on Monday, but because of the washing I did on Monday, the ironing mountain became even bigger, lol, and I also tidied and cleaned half of my kitchen cupboards. In between all this I popped round to take my dad’s washing back to him, he was out so I quickly cleaned his bathroom and wiped the kitchen units.
Today was another busy day. I took down the shower curtain as it was looking a bit grotty, and was also smelly, and soaked it in hot water in the bath with the dregs from a bottle of shower gel, (bottle then put in recycling) while I cleaned the rest of the bathroom. I took everything out of the bathroom, vacuumed thoroughly then washed everything, including the walls and floor. Then I cleaned the loo roll/brush holder, the bin, scales, towel bin and storage rack which I’d taken out, then I stopped for lunch. After lunch I put everything back into the bathroom, minus some bits that I binned, then I scrubbed the shower curtain and hung it back up and finally washed the bath, the bathroom is now gleaming! After finishing the bathroom, I then went downstairs and tackled the ironing mountain, which is now non existent!!
My house is so clean and tidy at the moment that I hardly recognize it, and tomorrow I’m planning to tackle our bedroom, I’ll be glad to get back to work on Monday to have a rest, lol!Weight loss challenge 2/10lbs

Not having best time at the moment - can't sleep now getting about ours a day, got home from work yesterday and was sick for 2 hours. Woken this morning and feel like I have a cold
I have a week left in work although am off today and tomorrow. Need a burst of energy to help me finish the housework before baby comes.
OH car back on the road, got stuff listed on ebay, just done last nights dishes and everyone else is asleep shhhhh
Had ordered some items from Boots and apparently it was delivered yesterday we weren't in and they left a card- although actually there were 4 of us in and there is no card - can't rebook the delivery as need the ref from the card, can't collect and you nned to enter the card ref to get through the automated phone line got hold of a number for their warehouse last night was on hold for 30 minutes before getting cut off as offices were now closed - worried someone could re-book my parcel to be delivered and pinch my stuff! The cards not with my neighbour so don't know where they went.:(DMP 2021-2024: £30,668 £0 🥳

Sorry to hear you are not feeling well
I have been up and about for ages after a restless nights sleep, I have done a laundry, dishwasher load and stripped and changed my bed. Just going to drop DD off and then I am coming back to tackle more of the bedroom

Been MIA in MK and the house is showing it.
Work has been manic, so home life has taken a back seat apart from day to day stuff, like loading the washing machine and dishwasher.
Have been up since 730, DW is unloaded, kitchen has been swished and wiped, WM emptied and on line and another load put on, all ironing has been done.
Have got all spreadsheets up to date, bank accounts, spending diary, food and freezer inventory, meal plan till end of the month.
Due in work at 12, but then got tomorrow off so planning to do some major decluttering of the spare room. It has needed sorting for at least 3 months, so going for the bin it, keep it, donate it approach, with anything that can be sold going on to Ebay, Music Magpie and so on.
Have a good day all0 -
morning folks!
I'm another messie in MK - love it here having relocated for work 11 years ago (from Lancashire).
Reading everyone's posts hoping for inspiration as my home is a real tip. On the plus side I have motivated enough this week to give the bathroom a good clean. I've no excuse either, at the moment, as I'm not currently working so should, in theory, have plenty of time for decluttering and cleaning.
