Well done to all you messies making progress!

I attacked mine and OH's bedroom (aka the dumping ground). It took a couple of hours to get it looking reasonable. There was a lot of stuff that should have been decluttered when I finished university last year. I got one black biner liner of rubbish, one of recycling and one of documents to shred. It's fresh and clean but needs loads more decluttering to get it to where it should be.

Next stop: the rest of the house!

Oh dear my good intentions went to pot a bit today :o. Instead of doing some gardening and tidying up I spent the morning with a magazine, coffee and gingerbread men. Then I did a bit of crochet before a 4 hour nap :o.

Now however I am going to turn into wonder woman and tidy up the kitchen and make dinner before the OH gets home, wish me luck :D

    Evening all

In the next 2 days I have to pack all the holiday stuff [after ironing it] and give the house a good going over

I have just cleaned the bathroom, DS's room and DD's room and the landing so that leaves the Kitchen, DR, LR, Main BR and the stairs - I should just about to be able to do it - not deep cleaning more moving one pile of stuff from one place to another lol The stairs are minging though so they need a reet good going over :o

Hugs to all who need or want one

Ooh what a lovely idea. I have the school holidays off work for the first time since 2004. As well as all the jobs I have to do I am going to put on my list, spend the morning with coffee, gingerbread men and a magazine.:D

    It was guilt free bliss!

Well I have been totally motivated and I have now loaded the tumble dryer, put on a laundry and dishwasher load, planted seeds in three outdoor pots and hoovered the hall and living room :D

Amazing what a day of guilty pleasures can do to make you work quickly. Going to try and get the laundry folded and put away before bed to give myself a good start to the day tomorrow :)

Hi all. Im just having a sit down and coffee. Decluttered the little room , mind you its still got clutter just organised clutter, lol. Hoovered the stairs and sorted out my books .
Hamster on the run again. Daughter said he pushed his cage door open!. Hopefully he will appear.
The little room will stay as a cupboard for storage as we dont have any built in the house. Put some stuff in the attic but it is thick with black soot up there. so have to ensure stuff is well covered . Hopefully Ill be able to sort it out at a later date and get it boarded out.
    Im rambling as usual.
Oh has half killed himself sorting the back yard out now stuffing his face with pain killers.
Helen enjoy your hols and hugs to everyone.

Hello fellow MK'er - love it here but its not my final place to live - that'll be either in the Highlands or a remote hidey hole in Devon/Cornwall!!!!
