I have cleaned the car as picking up new car later hooooorrrayyyyyy! can't find the manual though grr so pulled out everything from under the stairs and it wasn't there double grrrr as it was quite messy but on the plus side I did recycle/bin some junk. done two loads of washing and dried them in the tumble as its pouring here today, just loading the dishwasher but had to have a coffee as think I may have overdone it a bit - kinda feeling crampy and had a curry last night so hoping I am not in the beginnings of labour as I am soooo not ready.

going to take it easy now and list some stuff on ebay and pack my stuff ending today and my dad is popping round so might ask him to put some junk up the attic for me.

Morning all - horrible rainy day here and it's not leaving before around 4 this afternoon - lucky I went mad and did all the washing yesterday and got it dried! CBA with the ironing though - that can wait till later I think. Will be off to see MIL later, she's 100 miles away so dog will be packed in the car too!

Shower then Mr T's I think, I also need a new rotary washing line as this one has seen better days - overuse perhaps? :rotfl: I think Argos has some on offer so that's something else for the list.

Thanks to everyone for their nice comments about my horrible children - I'm fine about it now, honestly, just certain days it stings a bit. It's fading though!

Oh well, off we go! Hope everyone has a good day today, and that you have better weather than us! :D

    Morning

Well I have decided that I actually live in a storage unit complete with bed! Things seem to going backwards nicely but that is probably becasue I have been through a CBA phase due to a broken and sad little heart of mine. It will mend given time.

Back to little steps and planning. Tipping with rain here so no point putting the laundry on. At least that is sat nicely in the laundry bin! Waiting on a delivery from Sainsbugs so going to put a gammon in the crockpot. I'm also going to get back on top of my paperwork which will be an achievable goal for today and at least make me feel as if I a moving forward again.

    Hugs to all

Flippin typical ain't it - we'll be away next week so if I list my stuff it will all end on the day we go away which means it won't be posted till the beginning of the following week which'll mean bad feedback Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

    Hi Helen

Why don't you do it as a 5 day listing instead of a 7 day listing....that way you'll have time to post it before you go away! Just a thought :)

Cor - how thick am I - I've been Ebaying for ages and didn't think of that :o

Thanks for the reminder - I'm away to Fleabay now

  • Hello fellow messies - I would love to be able to tell you that my absence from here was due to a massive clear out, de clutter and general tidy up - I would love to be able to but I can't ;););)

My study is still awash with paper, and I have bought yet further cookbooks. If it were not for my OH the whole house would gently slide into a sea of mess. I'm not feeling my best, my back is playing up and this always puts me in a cba mood, plus I've been busy working all week and just don't have the energy.

Weather is muggy, damp and dismal most of the time, and we're due more rain this coming week. I need to get my study in order, so hopefully will enlist DD to help as she's very good at getting me to part with things :) On a brighter note we did bag up a whole lot of clothes that I turned out and which will be going to a local recycling centre this week!!!!!!!!!!!

Hamster has escaped in dd room. We think its gone under the floorboards as its an old house with a few holes where wires have been put. Hoping it comes up for food otherwise ,well I dont know if Im honest as you would have to tear the house apart.
Oh not well having a dip due to his fibromyalgia. Had a few blackouts as there is a problem with his neck also. Things tend to happen all at once.
Outlaws came today oh dad goes on about the same things over and over again. Felt like strangling him. Oh and his mum thought it was funny. All in all not a good day.

Hoping Ill have a better day when I get out of bed later when I eventually get there. Anyway moaning over. Take care everyone.

Good Morning Messies!! Welcome to newbies, my advice is babysteps, do it in 10 min bursts using the 4 box scheme previosly advised. Start at the front door, the way a visitor would come in ( I don't let people in :p;)) and make your way through.

Well Friday was productive, Angela the fairy godmother from cc came round. We tackled the dining room table and we can now sit down to eat!! Kids went away for weekend. We intended to do car boot but because of dreadful rain and OH back playing up didn't get more stuff sorted or packed. Went yesterday eve to local retail park to look at freeview/freesat boxes going to ditch sky, had a letter from them yesterday to say they want £56.25 per month!:rotfl:We have worked out that if we use :money:for phone and broadband, have aerial upgraded and invest in a freeview recorder we'll save lots! OH got very giddy at tv's there were lots, nice young man showed us differences. It was mind boggling. Took model numbers came home and googled to find it up to £100 cheaper! OH has agreed our 21 yr old stained carpet needs changing, so do our curtains and suite, he said that with the money we save each month from Sky and a few other cutbacks we could get something cheap(he's got friends that can do things at trade). OH still snoring, I'm itching to tidy garage up before kids return, sorted a lot of the kids room out. DD had lots of dirty clothes stuffed in the most unusual places!! I'm really pleased that OH is being more responsive about sorting the house. Have a productive day messies.

    Morning Messies

I am back and faced with loads of mess and a mountain of laundry . So I got a bright and early start to get things moving and organised. The bottom of the house is not too bad and just needs a general scuttle round but the top is a riot and I really don't want to face it.

Bought your home magazine yesterday for two reasons:

    1. It will give me inspiration to tidy and decorate.
    2. It gives me a great excuse to sit reading with a cuppa avoiding the cleaning :rotfl::rotfl:

Hi Messies I am still here, lol I have a plan of action for today involvng the whole family - who are going to be very grumpy about it but tough he-he. New car is sorted now have to put OH car back on the road as he has auto only license and I need him to take me to hospital. We have to sort out clean washing, more ebay stuff and upstairs needs a sort out, mountain of towels in lounge clean need to be put away. Kitchen needs a scrub, seems to be clutter left about which also needs sorting - like junk mail etc. Need to wash bed covers, hoover, wash sofa covers and I have to go and see my sister to give her b'day present.
