    Hello all,

Do you have room for a littleish one? :) long time lurker on this topic

Me and my other half bought our 1st house last year and I think the new house feel has gone :(

We are starting to get clutter everywhere, I cook and my partner washes up however sometimes he leaves it a day or two so I invested in a dishwasher that arrived faulty so I am stuck with my partner being the dish washer heheh (I think I prefered the faulty one:p)

Anyhoo, I have tried and tried to ready through this however there are so many posts i've only managed about 50 pages but what an adventure readin through all your posts. I feel like I know you all so well and you don't know me at all, Well lets change that then!!!

We need to do a massive tidy but never have the energy as we both work 9 hours a day 5 days a week and when we get in after cooking dinner & seeing to the garden we're only ready for relaxing on the pc or watching a film before going to sleep. I really wish I had the energy of a lot of you but I simply don't :(

I think I will have to take it in baby steps as you all do I think tonight I will hover from top to bottom & sweep up the passageway and mop the laminate. That is as good as start as any hehh!

Hi Sashwo, welcome to the thread. Its very inspiring.

Hi Parsnip welcome back - I think my bump is bigger now - I am not looking forward to the floppy belly I will have after this one as he is all on the front.

3 loads of washing done today, DD1 cleaning her room, worktop clean and chicken out the freezer for tea, sent OH to Tesco so don't have to go out again, OH part hoovered the bathroom - its not his strong point and I eed to hoover the car - one day lol

Morning all! Hope the weather is better today - been horrible and overcast the past couple of days but I have 4 washloads on the line and the sheets are in the machine - hope they finish before I leave for work so they can go out too.

Had a few CBA days, it's my younger daughter's birthday on sunday (26) but I can't send her a card or present as she and her elder sister broke all contact with me (for the past 3 years) and I don't have an address to send anything to. Doesn't usually bother me, but times around birthdays etc are hard! I never get anything from them now, not even a text on Mother's day. Oh well, such is life!

Got the bathroom and kitchen done yesterday (thanks DH!) so just the living room to do tonight and possibly our bedroom too.

Still not touched the midden that is the spare room - and as for the porch :rotfl:

All in good time! Hope everyone has a good day today - will report back later!

    I need help!!!

We got a new bedroom carpet yesterday, we need a new one when we moved in 13 years ago, but had no money then 2 young boys came along, the other week I said enough was enough. It was tread bare, in pieces and had paint on.

Anyhow we had to empty room and moved all stuff in ds bedroom, moved clothes back and chest of drawers back in, but his bedroom is full of crap from the wardrobes, top of wardrobes, under bed etc. He had to sleep on sofa bed last night!

Don`t just want to move it all back in, but i cried last night when I saw all of it, it will take forever to sort it all. Plus got kids off school from next Weds so will have less time.

Any ideas how to tackle it?

Shut door to his bedroom as thought of it depresses me.

    Morning!

Hart hope you are feeling better. Hugs to those who need them. Sagaris, it must be difficult for you. My mother and I fell out 16 years ago, the day after my wedding and didn't speak for 7 years. The remaining 8 years we met occasionally so she could see my children but nothing close. Last year she developed multile bi lateral pulmonary embellisms, I went to see her in hospital and she apologised to me. That is all I had ever wanted. We are now closer than ever and have a proper relationship with her now. It is difficult and as a child of a fall out she will be thinking of you I'm sure.

Angela my fairy godmother is coming this am, don't feel I'm getting anywhere fast. Have spent quite a bit of time preparing for winter watching the thread as I see you are Helen Jelly and making preparations. No good as I need to clear some carp here 1st! Doing a car boot on Sunday. Kids going to godmothers for a day at Flamingoland as their birthday treat and a sleepover. Intend to do kids shared bedroom, saw chest of drawers in IK*A yesterday will put on list. Must go need to do school run. Went to a school ladies night last eve. Bought an Organised Mum family life book , calendar and shopping list pad!! Diary was invaluable last year goes from Sept!! Must try to be organised:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
