Morning messies
I ran around like a headless chicken yesterday but still did nothing
I had to run DD to work then did manage 1 load of washing and a quick hoover around LR & K then went off to see DS's play, best part of the dayal the kids did a wonderful job with their lines and it was so sad to see the yr 6's lined up on the stage at the end (always makes me cry :rotfl:) it is a very small village school so I know everyone there and until Easter I did their toast in the mornings for them for 4 years and I miss doing it but had to give something up as I was never in
Today I have to go get 2 tyres on my car changedOH told me they were near bald
but luckyly he works in a tyre place so gets them cheap
I can not shake this feeling of wanting to sit and cry all the time so I have made Doc's appointment but can't get one till Monday
So I just have to keep myself moving
Hope everyone has a better day today and I will (try) to catch up later
Thank you everyone for being hereit is realy helping me
Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a timeand Love sewing

Hart - have a huge hug [hugs] well done on deciding to go to the Doc's, how awful though that you have to wait till Monday, but at least you are being proactive. I know the feeling well, needing to sit and cry, Spent the morning yesterday feeling that way. Hope the Doc can give you something to help you feel better
I've been busy this morning - Tidied LR, wiped down the side table and the coffee table, cleared both tables, sorted out my sewing box, washed up, tidied worktops, threw out dead flowers, and I'm now in the process of sorting the DR table - its full with Ebay stuff and sewing projects but I have to clear it for tea tonight as DS has a friend round [can't shove a tray on his lap lol]
Hope there is some sunshine for you all whether its outside or in your life!!

HUgs to all and a special one for Hart (it will work out) - and Coleen Pamela for taking in the old baby.
My house is back to being a midden, and my blummin car is still not fixed (its been ten weeks, its a ford it should be easy right?) and Im at work with a very light workload wishing I was at home doing cleaning and sorting. However I dont get paid for that work, so I need to sit here being all businessy.
Tea last night was stir fry and tonight Is brought to you by the great defrost.... weird kinds of fish which seemed like a good idea at the time (and guest starring prawns) in a tomato and chili sauce which I got recipie from good food website.
Bet its a talking point.
Anyway, last nights jobs, were poop scoop the garden, They have their own poo area, and wont poo on walks, its rather good. But my little lad plays out and while hes not allowed into the poo zone (its loosely cordoned off with a trampoline the dogs walk under, and various furniture) I like to keep it clear.
I cleaned one window and changed one net, and procrastinated about it all night.
made stir fry pork (another deeefrost special) and tonights sauce.
Need to sort some paperwork, you lot inspire me to have a look. probably could chuck loads out!Trying to shift that debt!0 -
Thank you Helen
I sometimes have down days but I can shake it off but Ive felt like this for a few wks now, I think since having 6wks off work to get my hand done then having to go back to a job I now hate (evening cleaning at a play center) it has just got to me, that and not being able to keep on top of the houseor it could be my age (not sure if Im going through that end of the monthly thing) so hoping Doc can sort me as I hate being like this
Anyway something a bit more cheerful :rotfl:
My car is now legal againThe guys in the garage wanted me to drive the car into the garage but I was having kittens thinking I have to reverse it out yet :rotfl: Im good at going forward but crap at going backwards :rotfl: but I did it :j
Im going to have a coffee (&cig) and do some sewing
Hope everyone elses day is going to be a good one

Hart hugs. Its a horrible feeling being depressed but remember it does pass eventually.
Did the kitchen before bed last night and got through five loads of washing. Had to deep clean dd room and most of the washing came from her room . Was not sure of what was clean and what was dirty.
New hoover arrived thanks to oh. Got it off ebay reconditioned. I go through hoovers at a rate of knots due to the pets and me being heavy handed. Material ordered for kitchen . Im going to make a curtain to cover the machines and two door curtains to keep out the drafts in the winter. Oh had sold a gadget so he paid.
Hamster escaped at four in the morning. Id put its cage on the top of the unit thinking it would be safe. Anyway one of the cats had knocked it off and it escaped. Found alive and well and oh put it next to him in our bedroom.
Going to tidy this afternoon and sand down a kitchen chair ready to paint.
Take care everyone.0 -
Hi all
Been gardening all day so have abandoned the housework. Managed to get the grass cut and a good tidy up outside so pleased with that. Feeling tired now though!
Hart44, you are absolutely right in getting yourself checked out. If there is something wrong its best to get it sorted early and just talking to the doctor might reassure you. Wishing you well.
And oh Snookey we have two hamsters and they are the best pets kids can have. They are so adorable and ours are very much part of the family. Nightmare if they get out though!
Had a bit of a strange day yesterday, it was sports day for the youngest which he was really excited about and it should have been a really happy day. All I could think about was that it was on school sports day two years ago that I realised something was not right with my eldest - and ultimately that lead to him being diagnosed with Crohn's Disease and our whole world turning upside town.
Oh well feeling more positive today, have got another meeting with school on Friday about next school year so will be glad when thats over and done with. Better get on or I will sit here for the rest of the afternoon!0 -
Hah - financial woe is great for me getting housework done - I did a load of dishes and took the bins out last night, to avoid having to think about money any more :rotfl:
Although halfway through the sinkload I discovered a bunch of holes in my rubber gloves where it appears they have melted in the sun! (hubby pointed out it means he has to do the dishes until I get new ones, that cheered me up!)
Snooky - sounds like chaos with your pets! Glad the hamster was okay.
And hugs to you Hart - hopefully you'll get the help you need!
Right, I've got a list written of what to do when I get home - just got to finish work first, and stay awake on the train home :coffee:In a better financial position than ever before (thank you MSE!). Moved back to Scotland and now trying to keep debt-free!0 -
Have done absolutely nothing all day!
Just about washed up and emptied DW but that is it
House is looking ok ready for visitors tomorrow as managed to get most of it done yesterday.
Still need to get the shopping done - will be doing it tonight once kids are in bed and hubbie is home. Sooo much easier and quicker on my own, and may pick up some bargains for the freezer.
Need to get on with the ironing now - hence me being on here. I am so good at procrastination!!
Tomorrow morning - will need to give cloakroom once over (will put bleach in loo tonight to work it's magic), hoover round downstairs, put a wash on, * and nip into town to collect bits from drycleaners (DH's suit which I was meant to collect 2 weeks ago ) - all this in time to get back from in-laws arrival and collecting DS from pre-school at 11.25am - easy
*oh and make salmon en croute for dinner!!0 -
Afternoon messies,
Well I'm on holiday at the mo...I say holiday but it's just time off work, I'm not going anywhere! Yesterday was a very lazy day, did the food shop then came home and did the bare minimum!
Today has been a little better - was late getting up, but forced myself to go to the gym. I had a good workout today, got quite a sweat on! I have some cookies baking in the oven (first time for me) and the dishes are waiting for me.
OH won't be home until about 7, so I've got a few hours to make the house shiop shape!
Hugs to all that need them
Catch you later x0 -
Hello lovelies, and big hugs to Hart, I honestly know how you feel and well done on calling the dr xxx
I accidentally brough myself a troll bracelet today, and then two beads just sort of fell onto it, and the money leaped out of my purse. Whoops. Staff discount rocks!
I am determined that I will finish my filing and sort my Avon stuff out tonight, I've been putting it off and putting it off...
Our greatest weakness lies in giving up; always try just one more time0
