Hi all :hello:
Can I still be a messy please? I haven't been about for a bit - let's just say life got in the way! Anyway I'm back and ready to go again. Hope you're all doing well - I'm going to attempt to catch up with the recent goings on0 -
Well i've been missing for a few days too. Congrats to parnsip on de cluttering her tummy. Some good work going on and everyone seems to be trying hard to keep on top of the sea of washing despite the awful weather.
I've done nothing at all really apart from said washing and drying . My grandaughter slept here on weds night and was chasing her sister round and wheni put my hand out to steady her she caught my fingers and it hurt. Couldn't stand the pain any longer and thinking it was just bruised i went to casualty yesterday and turns out i'd dislocated my 2 smallest fingers. Sore and stiff today and will be for a while yet .
Desperately need to sort my wardrobe and sort out space to hang things up last lot of ironing is still in basket waiting for a space. Need to get some painting done too.

Ooh Crafty granny that must have been painfull, Hope they are better soon. Welcome back bedshaped. Kt Ill bear that in mind but if I do too much Ill have to transfer to flyladies, not much danger of that ,lol. Iv done nothing today apart from load the washing machine and the tea.
Sagaris your brave 40 kids in one place!.
A hint if you have tiles in the bathroom use car wax now and again on them and it keeps them clean longer. Also if you have furniture upholstered in fabric use the fabric cleaner thats used in cars. Both products are in pound shops.0 -
Evening all
Craftygranny - that sounds really painful - hope your fingers are better tomorrow
Done not alot today - the rain drags me down and its been rainy and really grey here today, washing x 2, td x 2, tea made, a bit of shopping done and thats it - really lazy day
I need to get into some kind of routine - normal people can so why can't I - cos I'm too bloomin idle to!! There are nearly 6 weeks till the kiddies break up and I have 5 rooms that need sorting so I've decided that rather than look at the whole house I'm going to tackle a room a week - tomorrow I start on our bedroom - it needs a massive declutter, sort out and deep clean so I have 3 days this week that I can do it in [it also needs a carpet and decorating but I know not to push myself to do that] its about time I grew up and sorted stuff out, I'm not ill and am able bodied so I have NO reason for my lack of "doing" so tomorrow I sort it out!!
I have to say thank you to all of you for making me realise this - love and hugs all round

Oh well - another day dawns!
Didn't get much done last night as I was cream crackered after my day in London - but DH is taking the car and I am on a course, so we should both be home earlier today - so I will get planning to see what we can get done later!
Think finishing off the living room is favourite, then that leaves me Thursday to do our bedroom - am I strange for looking forward to it? :rotfl:
Then that will just leave the spare room (only got 2 bedrooms) and the porch to do - if it stays standing for that long - it's long overdue being demolished and rebuilt. Will get some quotes for a new one once it's respectable enough to allow a builder to look at!
Have a good Tuesday everyone!:j Almost 2 stones gone! :j

Hi all, Im joining this, my house is always a tip, (mostly although the bath is a swamp sometimes), we just dont tidy regularly enough.. I work full time, 3 kids, 2 dogs, 6 cats various fish and sea monkeys and always too much washing. Tonight we are hoovering and wiping, doing half an hours ironing and doing some ebay stuff. Want a plan or a schedule for doing housework and a rota might be good too... get the kids empowered in the odd chore eh? I hate washing up but dont mind wiping down...Trying to shift that debt!0
