:o Well, strictly speaking, did not vacuum that very large and dusty state, just my own personal and much smaller state. But it was very very dusty and I am proud.

:o Been procrastinating about the vacuuming for ages as I first have to excavate the floors. I mean, I know they're under there somewhere but just not visible. Takes less than 5 mins to vac the whole flat but about an hour first to clear the floor.

;) Feeling a bit CBA today but have been keeping on top of the washing up and laundry and will possibly baby-step myself towards a bookshelf later, sort of sneakily de-cluttering bits of it.

:D I could wash some floors. I mean, I could. In theory. I know how and have all the stuff but I'm gonna skive off on the interweb and then nip around some shops before closing time.

Nobody up here will tell on me, will they?

Well ive come to confess....ive done absolutely nothing all day! I really wanted to do some in my kitchen, but ive sat and caught up on all my programs ive recorded....so all ive managed to do is declutter my sky+ :o

Im now feeling really guilty and quite mardy with myself that ive wasted a full day...a saturday too! I mean ive not even got dressed :o I do now really need to move and put the sausage n mash on for dinner tho. My living room is a bomb site and im wondering what happened to the floor i once knew was there at some point, id also love to have more then 1 available cushion on my sofa to sit on...there should be 5!!

and dont even get me started on ants!! im so sick of them but cant put powder down cause i have a 1 year old that is still putting everything she finds in her mouth. They are everywhere though, the living room and the kitchen, anyone know any kid and kitten friendly ways of getting rid of them???

Its really drab outside and house felt chilly this afternoon. Thought we were getting a heatwave!.

    Ants , try talcum powder.

Iv decided to do the kitchen or Ill have been a really lazy mazy today. Off to the kitchen I go.

Have been quite busy today. I hoovered the stairs (something that doesn't get done often!) and cleaned out the fridge (also something that doesn't get done often!!) so felt quite smug.

I then washed the kitchen floor and had a sit down whilst it dried. Then I heard a noise coming from the kitchen and the local stray cat had got in through the open window and sprayed somewhere . The smell was awful, so had to wash the floor again with bleach this time to get rid of it. I wouldn't mind but I had been stroking him outside as I felt sorry for him and then shut the back door so he couldn't come in but hadn't given the window a thought!

After that I decided to tackle the ebay bag and have listed quite a few things :j but it is soooo laboriuos to do. I then realised the clothes I had listed had been in a bag for a while and so will need to be washed and ironed before sending anything  so have made more work for myself!

Welcome hollysmum22. Done 1 load of washing and kept up to washing up. After surfing OS threads decided to drag DS(who seems quite chipper at the mo) to Leeds market. Left coin purse at home and only had a quid for car park for 30 mins mad dash commenced! Went to os mkt for fruit & veg. Mainly clearing up but got a carrier bag of bananas for a quid 8 peaches the same and a large bunch of red grapes £1.30!! Dashed to butchers row and bought a meat platter for £10 joint of beef and pork sausages stewing meat 2 chicken legs and chops!! Went to another butcher and got them to reduce large gammon joint so I can roast and cut for sandwiches etc for £10. Ran to WHSmith to buy making magazine as I was disappointed with Mollys makes and also got one callled homemade living. Will hide the evidence from ther half. Nipped to Morrisons for milk and bread and now bidding on fleabay for something I've been watching for days. Will try and put laundry away this eve. Happy saturday evening messies!

OMG exTrolly, your poor DS, flaming drs are useless, they really are, glad he's feeling a little better now.

I didn't get anything done today apart from 1 wash load when i got home from work this evening. Yesterday i spent the afternoon in the hen house cleaning it again and spraying it with red-mite stuff.
I'm not going to get anything done tomorrow as i am visiting my dad then will go see my mum.

Oh i did manage to get the large rabbit hutch out of the livingroom yesterday after it sold on ebay :money:so i'm happy.

Time to cach up on the posts to this thread now i think :D.

    Have a good Sunday messies

BB I must confess that I once left a line full of washing out for a week getting wet/dry before bringing it in and washing it all again - I don't use TD unless I have to, but once I'm back at work I hope we can keep on top of the laundry so leccy bills aren't too high.

I now have a much more sorted study (still not finished but much better) and have organised boxes of photos/family papers etc with LABELS ) also sorting my work stuff so I can put my hand on what I need quickly.

Discovered that now I have a filing system it's a matter of seconds to punch a hole and file something as I did when new TV license arrived. Before it would have gone on a pile to make a mess. Still find housework dull, tedious and boring, but can at least see a point in it now.:T

Hope everyone feels better soon and parsnip hope you don't have to wait too much longer.
