BB hope the weather picks up for you and you can get the washing dry . I hate wet washing all over the house i'm lucky enough to have room for a dryer . I bought my daughter one 2 weeks ago as i was as fed up as she was at all the washing hanging around in her house waiting to be done cos she couldn't dry it. Now she's done 12 wm loads dried and put it all away and now can just put washer on each night if no rain it goes on line if not in the dryer. She's thrilled to have finally got on top of it.

not done owt yet the grandkids are her today so doubt i'll bother until they've gone home.

trolly hope the little one feels a lot better soon it's awful feeling so helpless and unable to help them.

I had my 4 year old daughter helping me and in all honesty she was an absolute star! She did most of it herself, i was just sat on floor sorting through toys, she was doing all the leg work lol.

\bb try and not worry about the housework as much and treatyourself, even if its just a nice bubble bath with some nice smellies....always helps me feel a little better :) just before crashing out again lol....good luck with the job too!!
  • Do you rent the wee one out Taliah? She sounds like a good wee helper!
I will be having a long soak later - I was hoping that I would get my bedding washed and changed. I know it sounds silly but heaven (for me) is having a long soak and getting into a lovely clean soft warm bed. Ahhh bliss.
It has stopped raining so I am leaving washing out - third load is on clothes horse and radiators. I am now lying on the couch with a cat on my shoulder and a laptop on my knee - it is lovely. He sits and looks at what I am typing as if he can read it.

EX Tolley - I hope your little one starts to feel better soon. It's horrible to see little ones suffering. Mine is due on Friday.

Buddingblone - Relaxing with a cat on your shoulder sounds lovely. Mine aren't that cuddly and rarely sit on my lap. Keeping my fingers crossed for your interviews.

Tahliah - Your little one sounds like a star, bless her.

I've been doing bits and bobs today including mending the flush mechanism on the toilet, but having a little relax now.;) I need to finish painting the bathroom this weekend.

Have a lovely weekend everyone and I hope those feeling unwell get better soon.

    It's lovely on here.:)

It is now raining very hard so washing is now wetter than when I put it out - will bring it in and spin it again and see how it smells - how lazy is that?
