I wouldn't push it Hart, ironing can be dangerous to poorly hands. ;)Plus it needs to be in tip top condition for sewing.

I mean no offence to my sister, but it down to mum to do the housework at mums and my sis is 23? Just glad im out of it and have my own place to keep, not the best or angel but i dont have to worry about the hassle.
my sis doesnt like getting her hands wet and wrinkly, so doesnt do washing/drying up, washing is left till she needs something, then has a rummage for it in the clean laundry basket unless she's washed it in the machine and waiting for it to dry in the tumble?

Well what an evening I've had

DS and friend were on the trampoline - they fell over and DS banged his mouth on the metal surround - cue alot of blood and screaming, a chipped front adult tooth, badly cut lip and a visit to the emergency Dentist - day off school tomorrow for him and he'll need his tooth rebuilding later on. Then DD and DH come in from a shopping trip and DD suddenly decides that she can speak to me as if I'm nothing more than dirt on the floor!! Boy do I have a headache now

Spag bol that was for the kids is being eaten by DH and me and the rest will be frozen, I'm going to bed early tonight as I'm bushed

Today i've been swimming n had sauna n spa
then went shopping for and visited Mum who has done her back in:o:oShe is in agony, poor thing:D:D
Washed up, did her recycling etc:Dthen came home washed up made tea, and potato n leek soup:p:p
Have a fab night messy mates:D:D:D

Helen jelly, sorry to hear about your son, my son had an accident when he was 11 and snapped both his top adult front teeth in half and needed emergency treatment done on them both, and just what you wanted from your DD as well.

I have had a busy day

WM x 4 - where does it all come from? All dried on the line and mostly ironed

DW loaded, done and put away

Study tidied - all shredding done, all paperwork filed, items listed on Ebay

Dinner done, DW re-loaded and on timer for overnight. Kitchen sink shined and floor mopped.

Packed lunch done for tomorrow and in the fridge

Now sat watching Holby and doing the bank accounts, whilst surfing

ooh hope your son is ok Helen Jelly!! Sounds nasty bless him!.....ive got my daughter back at the dentist tomorrow too, but her tooth hasnt fallen out and she still has her abcess so its looking like she will be refereed to hospital to have i taken out I just know ill end up crying lol

Well i got lots done today, needed to due to getting 2 new kittens tomorrow lol. My living room/dining room and kitchen floors are now clear all my washing is done and folded ready to be put away, toys are all sorted, all my paining has been finished off today and ive also cleared my kitchen sides....all thats left to do before bed is wash up dinner pots.

Im also soooo impressed with myself, a huge spider just trotted across my living room right in front of me and i killed it....all by myself :):):) Im petrified of spiders lol

Just typed up a long reply and lost it.

Well, good evening all. Welcome to newbies.

Not been on for a few days and not got anything new done either. Not too good at the moment so taking it easy today. However, the kitchen is still clear of clutter and the good thing is that having got it like that I want to keep it like that and it is easier to deal with. So is the lounge. I think it was budding blond who said she haddnt cleaned but it looked tidy. That's me too. So at least I am in a better place than I was when this thread started. I have also got into the habit of putting junk/mail that doesn't need to be kept in the paper recycling instead of leaving it to build up on the side. So progress there too.

However, there is stacks of washing needed to be done, but this is because it hasn't stopped raining here for days so I can't get it dry. In winter I put it on the radiators but I am not putting the heating on in May, even though it is cold.
