Morning all
So far today I have
Emptied DW and refilled with last nights stuff - I really must do this nightly as I hate coming down to it in the morn
Ironed [thats a first for this time of day]
Dusted LR
Cleaned DR table
I'm about to hoover downstairs
And the reason for all this activity is that DS has 2 mates coming over after school and I don't want him ashamed
See ya laters gators

:)Hello fellow messies, new messies and any wanabe messy lurkers. Not much decluttering going on at all here. Must get myself motivated enough to do just a little everyday.
jackieg - hope you are feeling more in the mood today. If not go out and shut the door and have another go later.
Have a good day everyone.0 -
:hello: Hi fellow messies!!!
I'm back after a bit of an absence and I'm ashamed to say my new regime has slipped a little since being back at work. There have been a few changes but mostly I've slipped back into the old "I'll do it tomorrow/at the weekend" phase a little.
Anyway, I have a day off today and will have time on my hands as I'm waiting for the council inspector to come regarding some repairs soooo.. I've washed up, hoovered all through downstairs, made the beds (I rarely make the beds) - amazing what a visit from the council can inspire you to do isn't i??? lol:A. I've got floors to clean next and I'm still not straight from decorating three weeks ago!! so my motto for the day is "if it takes less than five minutes, do it!"
But first ...I have a large cappuccino and some catching up on this thread to do  I really need to make time to read this every day to keep me motivated - without my fellow messies I am hopeless!! :rotfl:0 -

I too have slipped back into the tomorrow or at the weekend or whatever kind of attitude and i really need a shake up . I'm off to the post office this afternoon. I've been shopping this morning and i really need to sort the washer and dryer and get some ironing done. Please can someone give me a shove in the right direction. :rotfl:
Hope you're having a better day today jackie . Hugs to anyone who needs one and a kick up the bum to anyone like me who needs one of those too.

Afternoon all
Sorry but I'm no a roll - really sorry to those who are having a CBA day
I've hoovered all of downstairs, browsed the tinternet a bit, sent some texts, spoke to Mum, had a coffee and a fag, poo picked in the garden, cut the grass [before the rain comes] Emptied the DW again, started making Spag Bol and now I'm about to have some lunch - I'm making the most of this very unusual "get stuff sorted" feeling cos I know tomorrow I will probably be feeling CBA
Upstairs is a whole other story that I won't bore you with just yet [bathroom is the only tidy place]

Well, I was on fire this morning!! Blitzed one corner of my bedroom, did some washing, tidied the kitchen. its nice knowing just one corner of the house is decluttered - maybe I could aim for a corner of each room?!
Then I sat down for a late breakfast and I haven't moved since..........
Might get off here and clean the bathroom next. Door to SS room is staying firmly shut though, I don't need to see what lies behind it! xxTrying to jump back onto the moneysaving wagon .... :cool:0 -
Afternoon messies
JackieI hope your day is better today
I know what you mean about is it worth it
as my lot are about as much use as a wet paper bag
and some days I think stuff it if they want to live like pigs then thats how it will be but then I can't stand it so do a bit to sort the mess, I hate this nasty circle I seem to be going around
I have not very much today but I have sorted my fabric boxes, drawers and everywhere else it getsas Im getting withdrawal symptoms not being able to sew :rotfl:
I could do some of the easier bits of ironing but then again na :rotfl:
Hope everyones day goes how they are feeling and keep up the good workGetting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a timeand Love sewing

Hi messies old and new,
Helen jelly, i hope you have sorted your problem out with the rats, i worry about getting them as i have 8 hens in the garden and think they may attract rats or mice.
Hope everyone is well now and for those of you who are having a CBA day, well tomorrow is another day.
I have blitzed the kitchen and the bathroom, it is so much easier to keep on top of those rooms now and takes so little time :T, i have also cleaned the kitchen window, put some washing on and is now out on the line but looks like it might rain soon so i will bring them in shortly i think.
I still have major decluttering to do in the living-room and am waiting for 2 large items i am selling on ebay to end so i can get them out of the way :money::j.
Hmm i think i best go clean the litter tray out as 1 of the cats have used it and it's now stinking the house out eww.
Keep up the good work messies, you are doing a great job:A.

I wouldn't push it Hart, ironing can be dangerous to poorly hands. ;)Plus it needs to be in tip top condition for sewing.1 debt v's 100 days chapter 34: T3sco bank CC £250/£525.24 47.59%
