    Morning messies.:j:j

Welcome to all the newbies! Hopefully you will enjoy your stay!

    Happy Belated birthday rigsby!

I’ve had a different weekend to say the least.:(

On Friday my new window cleaning gadget so I send the OH out cleaning all the windows! Feeling so much better now knowing their done for a few weeks.:D

I also sorted the front garden, But I have planted a flower I have no clue how to maintain (Wild iris*) And for weeks now nothing has happened other then the green leaves sprouting - So I will need to read up about that.:o

Saturday I managed to do all the dusting, bleaching. Just need to buy some sugar soap now for the walls, Unless anyone can advise a better product? ;)

I also went well over budget (Food) - Shopping. But I know have a full freezer / Fridge & cupboards Just need to buy the odd bits.;)

Sunday I done all weekends washing up! In the mean time, We get a phone call to say that OH mum is having breathing difficulties. But WE had to call her a ambulance. (12+ miles away) Whilst other people was with her.:eek::mad::mad:
    (Long story!)

Today I’ve got loads on, Whilst awaiting news on MIL. So cleaning is off the subject today but I will start afresh tomorrow.:o

Baby steps all…. Good luck…….Keep up the good work! :T:T:T:T

Stardrops is great there is a thread on old style. It's an amazing multi purpose cleaner, inexpensive and some people find it difficult to get hold of. I buy mine in Wilkinsons but also available in Home Bargains, Savers and small independant shops.
I've bought some sugar soap to do my kitchen walls but stardrops has proven to be much more effective. happy scrubbing!

Good Morning All - have had a speed read through all the weekend threads and will be back later to read properly.
Welcome to all the new messies - you`re in the right place here.
Not much done decluttering wise at the weekend. Managed to vacuum whole house again (apart from DS room - I just don`t go there).
Must try and find some unwanted treasure to donate to charity shop at the weekend.
Walking past a closed CS yesterday and saw an ornament (Wedgewood Clementine) that I do not have in my collection and also a nice plate with a seaside scene on sale. The plate is also Wedgewood. Rang them this morning and they have put them to oneside until Saturday. Don`t know where I will put the plate on display though I just liked it. Must find enough to fill one bag that I can donate when I go to collect them.
Will also start the shredding/filing of work papers this week. Didn`t get time last week as it was so busy.

Morning all. Someone (sorry can't remember who) mentioned coming down to a clean empty sink, so last night I washed all the big pots and pans (don't fit dishwasher easily) and then cleaned the sink. Was so nice this morning to go down to do brekkie and have no dirty pots and a clean sink.

Bit achy after lawnmowing/strimming yesterday, so will be taking baby steps, but will try to do some more craft/study tidying and OH has offered to iron :j so I don't have to.

Princess - hope you get good news about MIL. I think wild iris are pretty tolerant, check when they flower as some of mine are only just showing signs.

Have never seen Stardrops for sale down here which is a shame, but will keep trying (is it availble on fleabay?)

Good morning (just made it :rotfl:) messies :D

I dont know where Sunday went :o I did manage to list 6 items of clothes on ebay so slowly getting the stuff on and soon (fingers crossed) out of the house :D

I have been in town this morning, I caught the 8.50 train so I could get to the P.O. to post some ebay stuff that sold over the wkend , 2 still to pay :(, done some shopping then got 10am train back, it is actually quicker doing it this way instead of driving so might do it more when my hand is better :D

1 load of washing in the machine and 1 load from yesterday dried and sorted into relevent rooms :D Im not holding my breath for DD to put her stuff away :o

Have a good day today, you are all doing great :T and I will pop back later :D
Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a time :) and Love sewing :)

    Afternoon all

I've spent the morning decluttering my Kitchen units - I now have a pile of stuff on the floor awaiting a decision - what am I going to do with them - I need a box so they can go in the garage!

I have a horrible old stand alone unit in the kitchen and I want a nice pine dresser but have you seen the prices of them - OMG - looks like I might have to put up and shut up lol. I'll go and give it a good clean maybe that will make me love it a bit more [not likely though]

Have fun with your baby steps everyone

extrolly i agree stardrops is great i use it for allsorts . I have a stardrops bathroom cleaner too hard to find but iceland had it. That cleans the bathrooms in no time. I used it for other things too.

Helen Jelly Keep your eye out on ebay i bought one from there 2 years ago when i moved here. After watching loads sell for too much money i bagged a biggish one for £30 . sold it last year for £65 cos i didn't need it anymore .

Candy girl i'd have reported a rude and ignorant barmaid too. I used to be a barmaid and my boss used to say it costs nothing to smile no matter how you feel and always remember it's the customer who pays your wages. no customers no wages . lol.

CraftyGranny - Yep I'm stalking Ebay lol - watching like a Hawk but they are all the bloomin fashion now - everyone wants to shabby chic them [along with me!!] I should of pulled my finger out years ago and got one when they were alot cheaper

Kitchen excess stuff is now in the garage, I have moved the unit I have in there and cleaned it and am now going to see what I can store on there - really need some nice boxes but again I'm unwilling to pay for them - I'm so tight with money hehe

ETA I remembered that I have wicker baskets in the garage so got them out and they are now on the [now not so horrible] unit and looking goooood!! But I have stuff everywhere on the worktops whilst I rearrange it all, flippin nora - I shouldn't of started this job - need to get off this comp and go sort it

    Seeeeeeeee ya laters gators x
