Doggy's op went well, she's in recovery and is fine. I can pick her up any time from 3.45 but eldest's train comes in at 4.05 so I will pick him up then go for her, I'd rather have someone with me to keep her calm in the car.
I've not done much today apart from rescue the dog basket from the shed and clean it in case she needs it. She's not supposed to climb the stairs or onto the furniture which is going to be fun. I might sleep down here with her, I'm sure there's a blow up mattress under my bed. She always sleeps with me and would be upset at being left downstairs and I only sleep for a couple of hours anyway.14 Projects in 2014 - in memory of Soulie - 2/140 -
Glad to hear your dog's ok, bet you'll be glad to have her back home. Hope she can resist the temptation to do too much climbing.0

Hi messies... I'm glad doggie is ok dibuzz!
Welcome Kat - I hope I haven't missed any other new posters since I've been MIA but if I have, welcome to you too!
Cloudy acres is still a MESS. It's Friday of my half term already, and I've done exactly nothing as far as de-messying goes apart from keep the living room reasonably clear.
I've had a few medical appointments to do, so been out and about most days - I also felt very rebellious and had a couple of indulgent days out, one up on the Staffordshire Moorlands for a gentle stroll and a flask of coffee in the car, and one at Martin Mere for a bit of birdwatching.
I feel a bit tired and hormonal now, and it's persisting down all day today so I'm skulking indoors with plenty of coffee, biscuits and t'interweb. I'm watching soggy sparrows and blue tits on the garden feeders, while plotting my wildlife garden for the summer, for which I've already bought a load of seeds.
Over the last week I've spent far too much money and have been very non-MSE, I'm quite ashamed to say. I've also scuppered my "diet", which I'm not beating myself up about, as it isn't exactly unexpected and I will get straight back to it after this week.
So... the next seven weeks will be spent losing weight and not spending money.
Which reminds me - I must get that winterproofing done on the windows. Where's the masking tape?I believe in the freedom of spinach and the right to arm bears.

She's home now and feeling very sorry for herself, she won't lie down because of her lampshade so is almost asleep sat up and I feel so guilty for putting her through it. She has to go back on Monday for a check up.14 Projects in 2014 - in memory of Soulie - 2/140

Don't feel guilty, without the op she would of ended up in a lot of pain, which would of been cruel, you did what was best for her, even if she is miserable now just think of all the pain and suffering you have saved her from.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

So far have

One wash load on line, another load in machine
Pork in the oven for dinner, not sure whether to have pulled pork or full on roast
Kitchen, swish and wipe sides
Will report back later.
Have a good day0 -
I won't be getting much done today, doggy eventually managed to lie down but we had to take the lampshade off. I ended up sleeping on the floor next to her basket but she kept sitting up and strugglng to get back down.
She had her medicine quite willingly this morning but won't drink, we even tried her with milk which she rarely has but loves and she only had a few mouthfuls.
I'm going to make sure I get eldest's work clothes done for Monday and everything else will have to wait till doggy is feeling better. I don't want to leave her alone at all but I don't think I need to go anywhere anyway.14 Projects in 2014 - in memory of Soulie - 2/140
