Oh for goodness sake, give the OP a break. Sadly, Morrison's is also my nearest shop, and I feel my blood pressure rising as I walk in the door. The place is claustrophobic with badly appointed shelves. There's ALWAYS something I can't get. Their stock control is only matched by the staffs' seeming boredom and dislike of their job. I work full time so I have to shop on my way home - it's a nightmare. The place is packed and has so many empty shelves. At the spirits/wines and tobacco section they take customers shopping baskets and scan them through even though there's a very clear sign stating that only purchases from that section can be paid for. Muggings here goes through the trailing check outs (there are always queues) and only go there to purchase booze and/or tobacco. I really don't want to add another 15 minute walk to/from another store when all I want to do is get some bits and bobs then go home and put the kettle on. Just thinking about it makes me feel depressed and ill - and don't even get me started on their SS checkouts
