Well, it says on the packet that you can. So I'll probably have a go if the birds and squirrels leave me any.And yes, last year I grew very pretty potato flowers.
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

I know this may be a silly question, but I potted all of mine on last weekend as they'd outgrown the smaller plugs but I guess I'll have to start staking them soon?? They are all in individual 4" pots and some are 6" tall already....
Last years attempt failed miserably and they all died so I need help!!!
Thanks0 -
I'll join in!
I have about 10 different types of sunflower seeds (and I bought more today:eek:)
Not all tall though
Maybe I'll see how many heads on a multiheaded type :T
I can't even remember writing that
I must have been tired
Anyhoo, my black sunflowers have germinated, I haven't done any more yet as it's a bit early still for where I live I reckonJust call me Nodwah the thread killer0 -

Planted my little sunflower plants out in the garden now, about an inch or 2 tall so far!
Having a little competition with my other half too over who can grow the tallest one! I've put some drink bottles around them with copper tape on, hopefully thatll stop the greedy slugs who ate through the stems of all my sunflowers last year!! *fingers crossed*
