    Ok we have sunflowers (in pots) which are nearly 6in high!!! Question is when do we plant them in their final position? Are they big enough now or do we wait a little while longer?

    You should wait till July at the earliest, don't want to rush these things:D

    Lol annie123, am wondering now if there should be a competition for the biggest sunflower in a pot! So I'll tell the kids to plant them out this weekend (their sunflowers not mine), and if it all goes wrong I'll just blame the weather!

    Despite suspecting I am opening myself up to public humiliation, count me in too.
    If any of our sunflowers survive rabbit and chicken raids long enough to flower it will frankly be a miracle. I would have expected our chickens to chase off wild rabbits but they happily mingle right next to them. Quite sweet to watch actually!
