Have just come across this thread and want to say well done for what you have managed so far, but do take the money from your dad and visit him. He needs to see you as much as you need to see him and better for him to spend his money now and enjoy your company.

The Daily Mail had some tokens a few weeks ago for huge reductions on train fares. I didn't collect them as I don't use trains but wonder if anyone has any spare that they could offer, as far as I can remember you could buy very reduced train fares for up to 4 people and I think they were valid until the end of March.

Just an update on the cutbacks we have done. No magazines or newspapers have been bought so thats a saving of 15 quid a month. gas has gone down to 51 per month, Our inter is now 17-99 a month and sky has gone down to 34 a month. Best of all though is our shopping which so far fro the month has been 247.

My wife has to take the thanks for the shopping. We need to try and get the gas down more and definately the electric, but for some reason the usage for electric is like 30 units a day, dont know why though.
