I wouldn't have mentioned getting rid of the dog if I'd known it was helping your daughters with their condition.

fred - you need to understand that all people have to go on is what you've posted. No one knows the ins and outs of your situation - so sometimes the advice you get might seem a little harsh. Some of us didn't see the original thread so could have less information than others.

To those who are saying he's unwilling to listen - we don't know all the changes he's made since november. Many posters kick against giving up sky initially. Most make the least painful changes first and eventually work out their budget to cut back on the 'wants' that they previously saw as 'needs'.

    Thanks Fred.
Just bumping this for you - and could you remind us please how many people this is for? I think you have a fairly full household, don't you?
I hope you're all okay, was wondering about you.

How are you managing to survive when your outgoings are more than twice the incomings? Are you using credit cards?

And please I am not having a pop at you, just totally amazed.

This is outside my experience but I would guess the important thing is to tell them the situation and offer a token payment.

We have cut down a lot from my first post and wanted to cut the gas/elec as that is way too high but to leave them would mean paying out a lump sum so cannot afford to do that. Really cannot understand why they are both so high to be honest. we have cut right down on shopping as well and my wife is buying lots of pasta, etc and freezing stuff to be used again and again.
We spent £61 on saturday and that is lasting us so far for the week so as yuo see quite a drop in spending. We have also cut down the sky package.
