That's ridiculous. There are plenty more reasons to live than that.
As I've said, the kids will HAVE to accept it or the OP will never start to cut down.

you and i might not agree with it, but the OP genuinely does. it's a very sad case when that is all you have left to live for, and that you cannot get any joy or happiness from your family.

anyways - i think the OP has made attempts to make inroads and make changes but they get too depressed or things keep happening to stop them from progressing.

You are by far one of the nastiest people (and I use that word very loosely) that i have ever come across. You are making comments about me and my family that you have no right to. You are a disgrace. Dont ever get a job working for the samaritans will you?!!
This post is for barnaby bears ever so nice post earlier on in this thread (post number 227).
This post is going to end up like the first one as people are ignoring what martin says and also the rules of the forum.
Have you got a job yet?

    NO? Then :shhh:

But if they go bankrupt & don't have the credit cards, then how will they be able to fund the lifestyle they feel they deserve while not actually paying for any of it themselves?

Tell me how on earth you qualify yourself to say that? Do you know me? my wife? my children? thankfully no you bloody dont. You know absolutely nothing and think you can make a statement like that? The amount of crap my family and I have gone through and continue to go through I wouldnt wish on my worst enemy, but then i come on here for help and get morons like you talking through where the sun dont shine. You really make me feel like getting up and sorting things out!!!!!!!

if you are referring to me - and i have a feeling you might be - these are all things that you have said yourself. i have not put words into your mouth nor would i wish too. so i am nasty for repeating what you yourself have said?

we have ALL offered help, suggestions, ways for you to help yourself out of your situation. many times you have said 'no - not possible'. fine - it's not possible. i would love to be able to help you improve your situation but i really dont know what i, or anyone else, for that matter can do that would assist you, because it is very sad that you say the only thing you have to keep you going is sky.

My life at the moment is not nice. Every time the phone rings I am expecting the news that my dad has died, i have not seen him in over 6 years, the last time I did see him he was fit and healthy, isaw pictures of him in the hospice the other day and i just burst out crying, he looked like a walking skeleton. But you lot go ahead and keep making your snide remarks. i dont ask for all the crap that keeps happening to us to happen but it does and defy anyone to carry on normal and happy, and for it to not get you down. Once again to the peoople who have offered advice it has been noted down and i have tried to change somethings when i have had the chance. Infact for the last couple of months the household spending has gone down from £900 to £680 and I have found a dog place that will pay 4 monts worrth of medication. Then i will use the petmedin site through quidco as posted on here by someone, i forget your name at the moment, but will send a pm to say thanks. Oh and to those who say put the dog down, that would be a incredibily stupid thing for me to do as it would scupper the progess being made by my daughters.
