email confirmation (re expiry date)Thank you for your email.
I can confirm that the vouchers are valid onto your account indefinitely.

I've been trying to book a ticket for next Saturday and I've noticed that the Free First Class Postage option doesn't appear. I experimented and the option does appear for the the following Monday (22/8/11). I guess that RSH are being cautious about the post taking its time. Rather than spend £7 for next day delivery or drive 15 miles to the nearest station to use an automated ticket machine I'll go another day. I was only going shopping with the wife and kids anyway!;)
Just thought I'd mention it, for those who are travelling within 7 days. Good offer though, and my vouchers took about 24 hrs to come through. What ticket delivery options are available to me?
First Class Post- First Class post is free for all deliveries.
- Tickets will be processed and dispatched by First Class post within 24 hours of booking.
- Tickets must be booked at least 6 working days prior to travel.

I get to the final page where it says click now to pay and I can see how much it will cost 'Total Cost:£55'. I now tick that I wish to use my eVoucher with its code number (gained via Tesco) worth £30 but the amount to pay by credit card covered by the words 'Total cost' stays the same £55. As a user this experience is bad as I will only find out whether the voucher is going to work or not after I have clicked to pay.
Thankyou to Livingthedream for asking me to check if the TESCO vouchers had been transferred from Tesco into my redspottedhanky.com account. Yes they had. I could see the eVoucher in my account with its code number. The telephone number which Livingthedream supplied (thankyou) was busy so I emailed but received no reply. I went ahead and clicked the pay button which is for the total journey cost and therefore does not change when the use a voucher option is clicked. In the next page I could see that my vouchers were being taken into account. Apart from the moment of not knowing, as described above, the booking experience was excellent. I received my tickets quickly and will definitely use this service again.0 -
Does anyone know if you have to use the Tesco e-vouchers on the account they are in? Eg: I have £75 of Tesco e-vouchers in my account, could I use this voucher on my brother's account in association with his £10 free e-voucher? (the free voucher has to be used on that account apparently)
Thanks0 -

To answer my own question. No you can't.0 -
I ordered my Tesco vouchers last night at 9pm, and they were credited to my redspottedhanky account at 3pm today

I'm very impressed by this so far.
I redeemed my Clubcard vouchers yesterday morning and received my RSH e-voucher at 2pm today.
I have now booked a return trip to London (from Leicester) in December and it has only cost me £5.50! I found the booking process to be very straight forward and have elected to have my tickets posted to me.
Tickets arrived this morning0 -
Tesco Vouchers, Senior Rail Card, 25 November
I want to travel YRM - YRK 2nd Transpenine say £4.30 but Red Spot say £6.60
also YRK - KGX 1st East Coast say £32.45 But Red Spot say £35.65
(Why 1st? Lunch & wi-fi "Free" ;-) )
Seems Red Spot are adding a fee of £3.20 to all tickets !
£3.20 on £32.45 is a lot (10%) . But £3.20 on £4.30 is gross (75%) !
Any thoughts?0 -

The reason it is cheaper is because TPE and East Coast give discounts on their own fares. If you buy a ticket on RSH with clubcard vouchers, you can then claim the difference in price by contacting RSH here: http://www.redspottedhanky.com/terms-and-conditions/price-promise/0
