Does anyone know how it works on the redspottedhanky website? If I exchange a £10 Tesco voucher into a £30 "e-voucher" does that need to be used all in one go? In other words is there a minimum fare of £30? Or could I use it to pay for lots of tickets?0

^^ not to sure, but the idea of £30 worth of train tickets for £10 sound great to me, I haven't used Redspottedhanky yet to buy tickets but have noticed it used the superior/friendlier Atos Origin search engine. Also they offer a price promise too, so one can get the East Coast/East Midland discounts*.
But most importantly No Fee's.

Lose: no longer possess, not to retain, unable to find
Loose: not firmly or tightly fixed in place0 -

The price promise does not apply if you use a Tesco e-voucher, but it's still an excellent offer.0 -
Does anyone know how long it takes for redspottedhanky.com e-vouchers to come through once you apply through the clubcard site?0

Well I've known dafter things to happen, especially when it involves the railways. The price promise does not apply if you use a Tesco e-voucher, but it's still an excellent offer.
That's so unfair, I want to have my cake and eat it, but thanks for pointing that out. :beer:Whoa! This image violates our terms of use and has been removed from view0 -
A word of warning before exchanging tokens - at the time of writing there is no way to do Groupsave despite the website telling you about Groupsave through the group travel information on there.
Also remember some train operating companies do their own variations on Groupsave for 3 or more travellers which you can only find and get through the train company's own website.0 -
Be warned, my experience with this deal so far is not very good...
I ordered tickets (two singles, outward and return) using the e-voucher and paying the remaining few pounds on a credit card (it took 24 hrs for registration on the site, then another 24 hrs for the voucher to come through, so be aware of that if you are planning a journey)
When I went to collect the tickets at a self-service machine, it printed the outward ticket, then flashed up a message saying it couldn't print the other ticket as it had not been paid for on the card inserted. Of course it hadn't - it had been paid for by the e-voucher. Had i known this would be a problem I could have had them posted to me instead, but the site doesn't indicate you can't collect tickets from the machines. So now i have an outward ticket but no return.
I thought I'd try calling customer service to try and sort this out, but the number is a premium rate £1 per minute, which then put me a queue! I hung up, and have tried emailing them.
I will report back on their response. I still have a week before I travel, so hopefully I can get it sorted out by then, but imagine if I'd been travelling the same day?! Anyway it's a pain.
If anyone has suggestions on how to deal with this, or has a non-premium number I can call, I'd be grateful!0 -

Any suggestions for how to get my return ticket gratefully received.
Did you go to the ticket office at the station (assuming it has one)?0
