Thanks OP. It's nice to buy stuff from Primark as a gift. Cheap and look nice!

i like buying stuff from primark for myself and my family, but would never buy a gift for someone else. i hate it when people buy gifts for me or my kids from there .
  • I bought 4 pairs of ski trousers in the Belfast Primark yesterday for 2 quid each!! they were 30 quid a few months ago when my dauighter was going ski-ing and as both her and her sister want to go next year I think they're a great investment. They also had the thermal tops, fleeces and thermal leggings for half price as well! Got myself a lovely little t-shirt for 2 quid. I have 3 girls (2 teenagers) and I would be lost without Primark as it means they can stay up to date for very little.

YES! I bought some tan brown leather-look sandals in there last week for £2.... They are lovely and I was so pleased to find them as very nearly bought almost identical pair in New Look for £7.99
    They are like this:

Everyone I know had a pair of these and the gladiator sandals last summer :rotfl:

I love the jewellery, it's cheap and it has a fast turnaround so you're not going to see loads of people wearing the same thing. If you're broke you can also stock up on clothing staples like plain t-shirts, white shirts, etc and people won't know it's Primark unless they look at the label!

I don't like the holdalls, I've bought two - each for a weekend away and each time the zip broke. I also bought a pair of gorgeous dark brown suede look flats for £2 which literally fell apart when I was walking home and got caught in the rain:D

Yep. My daughter bought one last weekend and it fell to bits this morning. I know it was only £10 but still...:(

I like.....bras, knickers, pjs, jeans have been great, some of the thicker socks have been fab over the winter (thin ones didn't last 2 minutes), I LOVE Primark eyeliners! (2 for£1)

I am thinking of buying some bedding that I have seen...anyone had any experiences?

Have to say I agree - I shop at primark and have had a few great buys over the years, but I would never buy anyone a gift from there. Don't get me wrong, I don't have a lot of money to spend on gifts, but I try to get something small and good quality rather than something larger that is primark branded. Am I a snob? :o

No, not at all, thats your choice how you spend your money. I think being VERY ANGRY at someone for buying a gift for you or your kids, from Primark, is totally different. I don't think I've every received a gift thats made me angry :p.
