Really pleased to have got a pair of skinny jeans for £8. they fit great as they are slightly stretchy material. Also the ultimate plunge bra (6 quid) is really comfy & washed well. not the most classy design, i go to H&M for my "special" underwear :rotfl:0

i agree the bedding is great including the mattress and pillow protectors bargain compared to the last ones i bought from ikea and wash great....
love the hair accessories (got a couple of great flower broachs/hair clips at 50p each great for hols) and some of the jewellery is good, excellent for socks and tights (bought the knitted pattened tights the other day reduced to £1 a pair) also agree

What a fab thread!! I love primark too, I have had some lovely bits from there, I would probably say the only thing I struggle to get in there is nice going out tops but I do get most of my work clothes from there, I agree with the plunge bra reviews - they are fab and I have 3, the control leggings are really good too and I get a lot of my nightwear from there too.
I got a nice red oversized jumper from there back in September for a fiver and its still just as nice as when I brought it even after a ton of washes.
I usually save up a bit of money and like having a little primark spree...in these desperate times I think its nice to spend a little and get quite a lot, lets face it we cant get as much for as little anywhere else can we?!?
I am taking a trip to primark at the end of April so would be interested to know whats in stock?!:j:jLittle Man born 11 March 2012 :smileyhea

They do great bags!
I have a pink and white polka dot oilcloth holdall that somebody thought was from Cath Kidston, a similar one in blue with a ditsy floral print which has also been mistaken for CK. They were £3.99 each!
I have also bought sofa throws in fleece material for £3 two winters ago, they wash up really well.I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
I find with primani it's just a matter of going in as much as you can to pick up bits and bobs. Yes, some of it is a bit tacky and cheap looking but you just have to pick up decent stuff as you see it! Also try to find out what day they get new stock because the popular sizes tend to go quickly.
I have lots of pretty frilly sheer blouses in all sorts of designs and patterns which I wear for work, look lovely with plain cheap strappy top underneath. I have had many of them for more than a year and wash up great. Look really expensive but are only around £8-10
Can't rate the skinny jeans enough (about £8 I think). The pair I have at the moment I have had for 2 years, still fit like a glove and look great too! I wouldn't ever buy my jeans from anywhere else - my topshop ones didn't least half as long! I also cut an old pair up to make into denim shorts that look exactly like some currently being sold in H&M for around £15
Also the bras are really good quality, lasted longer than some of my M&S ones and a fraction of the price. The boost ones definitely do boost!
Not sure about other stores but in my local they have a rack which is mis-matched singles from sets. Managed to pick up some pyjama bottoms/shorts for £1-odd each which is great because I just bought cheap strappy co-ordinating vest tops to go with them...bargain!
One thing I would say though is that the sizing can sometimes be a bit dodgy so I always try everything on before I buy it2011 Wins: 4 cinema tickets and unlimited ice-cream£500 OUTFIT voucher :j

Their spring collection now comes in size 18 and size 20. Previously size 18 was very small but new spring collection is proper sizes. I have bought 3 floral dresses, 3 cardigans, 3 blouses all size 18 and they fit perfectly. Also their accessories are amazing, you can finish off any outfit for just a few pounds.
Their bath sheets are really good value also, they wash well and are ideal for every day use.0 -
Non bargain really ... bought 2 union jack cushions £6 each that have a crown overlaid on them. Thought they were great until I realised they had printed them so the union jack was upside down.0

i have trouble buying my son trousers, as he is tall and thin, and for a 10 yr old that is not good. he's also very fussy. I found some jeans for £9. i liked them but didnt think he would. Had to go back and buy him another pair. they fit well and wash brilliantly, and even dont need too much ironing. also some grandad style jumpers for £6 and polo shirts for £4 for 2 pairs. nice party outfit for less than £20, and the tops wash well too.0

I'm glad this has taken off so well. Really encouraging to see so many people being able to shop cheap and trendy.
Also, the one in Braehead had sort of Army style boots (you know the ones which people are wearing a lot these days, with the buckles and laces and whatnot) and they were £18, down to £5. They were a sort of Ox Blood colour and they were unisex so, great for guys or girls.0
