Popped in yesterday. Found two lovely big bags reduced from £10 to £5. Couldnt make my mind up so bought both! Oops - not sure now if this is a bargain but a woman can never have enough bags!
  • I used to work for Primark and just wanted to share some facts with you guys......

New lines can come in every day, staff should put them at the front of the sections.

Mark downs happen every fourth Sunday....sorry can't tell you when I left a year ago.

If customers didn't throw all the stock all over the place there would be more staff on the tills!

Staff numbers are usually very tight, but if it's a well managed store those queues should go down really quickly.
  • Oh and if something is not up to scratch then please keep your receipts and return it within 28 days,

you will get refund if faulty.

If no receipt you should get exchange for current selling price.

I have to say, I think Primark are brilliant when it comes to returns, some of their things break, and they accept them back without a fuss everytime! :T

Anyone been in Coventry branch recently? Wondering if it's worth a wander this week lol :o

    I've been Money Tipped!
This thread is great ....but.... It tempted me to go into Primark yesterday and spend money!! Lol!

I have bought a few long sleeve t-shirts which are fantastic for layering, I've had some in the past, they are great, and were reduced from £3.50 down to £2.90. Also some cute tops for my son (18-24mnth) reduced to 50p and £1. Oh, and wrapping paper next to the tills, lovely designs, for £1 a roll.
  • I to love primark, and go in few times a week, at the moment have got all my girls there summer clothes, they love their playsuits, t-shirts and shorts, just wish the size 1-5 goes to size 6-7 as my littlest still loves that range, find that the older girls range is to old for her, things are hit and miss, but for the price you pay its not the end of the world, love their pj's, mine live in their fleecy pj's, (not kean on the button ones, as these seem to pop open, so don't get them anymore), love their household range and the scented candles are lush.
  • Popped in yesterday with my mothers day voucher & couldn't believe it (shades of Victor Meldrew !) all the ladies boots were reduced - got a great pair (were £15) for £2.00, yes £2.00, really great ankle boots bit biker chick but the chain will be taken off so not as tacky, also got a sweet little summery chiffon scarf for £2 & long sleeved black/white stripey t shirt for £1 (all colours reduced). So thanks to DD & I've still got £25 left for next bargain hunt !

just a reply re my earlier comments, the people that bought primark gifts it wasnt that they couldnt afford to buy from elsewhere. it was because they were being cheapskates. Anyway rant over... great thread:)
  • Love this thread!! I was made redundant last year and therefore hadn"t really been in much. When I worked I had to pass it every day and of course just had to have a wander in!! I've now got another job and my addiction is back in full flow, I was in again today! I got a lovely straw and peach bag for 4 quid which was half price and some peach jewellery. I can't help myself!!
