  • Today I got some doc marten style boots for £5 in the sale and fluffy slipper socks for 50p a pair. Bargain! I also got some more £3 leggins and they now go up to my size in underwear so I got some of that too. I could easily have got some homeware stuff but I had to carry it around town so I didn't. It's good to keep in mind for when I get my own place, which should be this summer. I particularly liked the rectangular london city scape cushions which were £4 each.

I've never even looked at the make-up in there i've always assumed it would be rubbish oops

Someone mentioned their foundation, are there different types,is it liquid make up ?
  • I have a kabuki brush and a foundation/blusher brush from primark and both are really great. Don't think either have lost a single hair. The bristles are bright purple & pink which I don't like though as it's hard to see if there's enough powder on / if they're clean.
They did a knockoff of benefit's benetint last year which I got for 50p - bargain :) Also the eyelash curlers look identical (except pink pads instead of green) to the bodyshop ones for 1/5 of the price.

I'm going to go later today especially to look for the lemons dress. I've developed a strange adoration for it!

I'm annoyed about primark vests.... gone up to 1.50 for the plain basic ones... and they only last 3 washes before theyre too short to wear... I'll be going back to peacocks, pay 50p more and have ones that last much longer.

talking of bedding, i've bought some from there before and it's been great. bought a blue bedding set for my son a few months back and he was more than feeling blue when he got up next morning... he WAS blue from the dye... lol.

    t, x

Slightly off topic, but cheap blue bedding does this - I've had the same from Argos and a market stall purchase.
My bedding is now all creams, no blue in sight :)
