Just thought of something else - bath towels - we bought ours there over a year ago and they have lasted really well.

i brought these recently and am very pleased with them they are so soft
have now given up smoking since feb 13th 2014 loving the money I'm saving
  • Good idea for a thread! I bought myself some cardi style ugg's for £2 a few weeks ago! And they are so comfy I wsan't expecting that!
  • I have found they have hardly anything in my size even those that purport to be so. I bought some gloves there on a particularly cold day and the seams were coming undone before I got home but their imitation Uggs seemed to last quite well, I went back for another pair.
  • The other week I got an all in one fleece sleep suit which although looks pretty stupid, is perfect for me as I have real trouble keeping warm at night but I can't have a heavy duvet or blanket because I am disabled, I have joint problems and it's really difficult for me to turn over in the first place so they make in impossible. Wearing the sleep suit means I've got an extra layer all over so my temp is constant and I can roll about if I need to. Hurrah! Also, I got a mens XL and I'm a womans size 22 and it fits fine :)

I also got some dr marten style boots for £10 (reduced from 18) and some black pretend uggs for £2. Oh.. and leggins! Leggins in Evans are £12 each, yet the size 20 in Primark £3 individual ones fit me well. I also got a faux leather across-body bag for nights out for £3 too. Love it.

I'm going back on thursday because I want another sleep suit and I saw some mens high top trainers that I had to resist buying, but I've thought about it and I really want them! From memory they were £10.

once again - towels - the ordinary bath sheets rather than the more expensive supersoft ones that turned out to be fairly water repellent! the ordinary ones are still soft, brightly coloured and in shape 3 years on :)

men's cargo shorts last summer - £7 and still going strong

fancy beaded hairband - £1, similar in other shops ~£12. and its comfortable too!

Just thought I'd point out that they do actually have sales sometimes. I used to work in Primark and every few months there would be a massive section of the store just for the sale items, but each store would have different sale items and different prices.

One of the only things I actually buy from Primark are bras. The lacy "plunge" bras are excellent for around £4. I used to buy similar ones from la senza for about £20 and they didn't last half as long as my Primark ones.
Does anybody know if there are any nice sandals in at the moment?

I love the jewellery, it's cheap and it has a fast turnaround so you're not going to see loads of people wearing the same thing. If you're broke you can also stock up on clothing staples like plain t-shirts, white shirts, etc and people won't know it's Primark unless they look at the label!

I don't like the holdalls, I've bought two - each for a weekend away and each time the zip broke. I also bought a pair of gorgeous dark brown suede look flats for £2 which literally fell apart when I was walking home and got caught in the rain:D

I'd suggest going on weekdays as weekends can be a bit hectic, also try and notice a trend as to what day they usually put out reductions.

Also, if you notice any barcode with a red line through it, more often than not it's a reduction, take it to the till and check the price or ask an SA. I know Primarni stuff is usually cluttered everywhere, but if you see something full price near the 'reductions' area, it could be a reduction. I have taken full priced items to the till from the reductions area countless times, to find it is actually reduced!
