I start at 10 in the morning so that gives me about an hour in Primark with 5 mins for a mad dash to work! I always use an apron when cleaning so am going to try and get the pink apron and oven glove. I bought nothing today and already I"m having withdrawal symptons!!

I find their standard white pumps come up small, bought a size 4 last year and have had to throw them out as they were just too tight. The size 5 are perfect though.

Just back from hols and wore my £6 gold sandals every night (toe post with an ankle strap, diamonte strap up the front and a wider strap round the ankle). They were really comfy - saw a girl with the pink/peach ones too.

The Reading branch have handy travel bottle packs (the kind where you can decant small amounts of your own toiletries) for £1, there's 3 bottles and a couple of little pots in a zip bag.

I can't personally second that but my friend had some linen trousers from Primark that she wore on hols - I did ask if they creased easily being linen (hence I don't wear a pair I bought from H&M) and she said they really didn't, and were soft after a wash.

I bought two of the reduced oven gloves in there too - was impressed that they are quite long (I'm terrible with burning myself on the oven racks) and have the silicone grips too.

Thanks kerri gt, wil look out for those. The only problem with buying lovely summer clothes from Primark is that our summer seems to have been and gone!!

Icelandicqueen, they are at the very back of the "home" floor, on the right hand side, in front of the cushions. I would have bought 2 had I known they were only £1, they really are nice and sturdy.

Thanks *max* and kerri gt I got the oven gloves and the apron. Picked up a pair of cookie monster knickers as well!! that's all I got as I was with 2 of my daughters and so I was limited to shoes, pjs and accessories!! It was packed but not as mad as it usually is on a Saturday, think it may have been the rain!! I saw the 'oranges' dress there actually think it would suit me better than the lemons one. Will leave until Monday when no kids with me!

Glad you got the oven gloves icelandic queen :j I was tempted with a peg bag I saw in there previously, didn't get it but might have a mooch next time I'm near store and see if its there (or just rinse the fluff and stuff out of my current one in a more MSE approach )

I was half tempted to go looking for the lemon dress today but resisted by not leaving the house...

btw, does anyone know if Primark still do the quilted pillow protectors? I'd bought mine from there for years but last time I looked they didn't seem to have any - wondered if they had been discontinued? :huh:

the tan sandals with diff colour straps for £2.50. i brought 3x pairs last year, still going strong. brought some more this year as they have new strap design

Brought a lovely chocolate and pink chiffon kaftan style top with sequins for £6 its beautiful

brought a white straw floppy sun hat for hols

i always get my socks from primark, decent quality for the price
