  • kerri gt I think they still do. I think my Mum got one from there not so long ago so will ask her later for you. I forgot to say that I got 3 pairs of those furry bottee type slippers for 2 quid each. I know it isn't even the summer but I'm putting them away for pressies. It's the only way I can get Christmas sorted!

Has anyone bought one of the chiffon shirt style sleeveless dresses? They do them in coral, blue, black and cream I think.
I really want one but I'd love to hear what people think of them?

Have seen a few on e-bay but people are selling them for 15pounds more!!! Ridiculous!!

  • Can anyone advise on the quality of Primark's men's jeans, was in at the weekend and seen that they have £10 ones and £19 ones, are they both ok?

Also has anyone tried the Men's linen trousers, looking to get some for my honeymoon. Also what about the men's trainers (plimsoles) any good?

    Cheers.

No Tara I didn"t, resistence is futile!! Went and got another load of stuff yesterday!! Did you get the apron in Belfast? Yes, I've tried their version of Spanx and they're good. Just don't fall asleep in them when you've had on coke too many, it took ages for the marks to disappear!!!

:rotfl: Thanks for that, I must pop in tomorrow and check them out. :D

p.s. yes, I got the apron in Belfast xo

I got the pink apron in Belfast today too! Although it wasn't marked as reduced, it went through the till at £1. Thanks for mentionning it! I also got a nice oven glove for £1, that was marked as £3 I think. Pleased with my bargains! :p

I might get one of those oven gloves, they look good and at £1 they're a bargain! It will save my tea towels as well... I try to use only the already-stained ones for taking stuff out of the oven (in case of spills) but OH tends to use the pristine new ones for the dirtiest jobs grrr!!!! I'm convinced that he's on a mission to ruin all my good tea towels.

I was really looking forward to my trip to Primark today but ended up so disappointed :(
I wanted to get some linen trousers, white and black, but no luck. No black at all, and one pair of white in a 16. I thought, I'll try them, they look quite good when they're a wee bit baggy, but I couldn't even do them up  The ones I wore at the weekend are now entering their 3rd year of use, and are a 14. The sizes have got worse in there. There was hardly any household stuff, no oven gloves or aprons :( Also, no shoes in a size 6. NONE. Everything stopped at a 5, of which there were hundreds.
This was in Ipswich, next time I'm going to Norwich.

On the plus side, I got 2 necklaces, a pack of pretty rings and 2 pairs of sunglasses for £9 :T

I have got to stop going in that place lol. Today i got a nice £9 green flowered dress and as i am not very tall it was a nice long length on me. I would love one of the maxi dresses but whole dresses are longer than me. I got a nice dress/tunic £7 and 2 beach towels reduced for £10 to £6
I did also get some harem trousers but they are going back as they look like i have shatt myself lol
:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boys :)
Want to be fit for 30 not fat at 30
    but i want never gets!!!
  • I got the oven glove for 1 quid and also found a set of red saucepans that were marked for 9 quid, but when I got to the counter they were marked down to 4!! I also got 2 more pairs of the bottee type slippers in a mettallic silver for 2 quid. I only need to find jammies in the right sizes and I'll have a good few Christmas pressies sorted as I've been taking advange of the Champneys offer in Boots. How sad am I?!!

Ouuu, what is the Champneys offer? x
  • There's actually a thread on it, but it's probably back a bit. I'll explain it quickly! At the moment Boots are doing a Champneys free gift worth 10 quid when you spend 8 quid or more on Champneys. At the back of the Boots mag there is also a coupon for 25% off Champneys and some people are also managing to get another 200 points on their card by printing off the special coupon from the Advantage Card Machines instore!!
