Also has anyone tried the Men's linen trousers, looking to get some for my honeymoon. Also what about the men's trainers (plimsoles) any good?
Cheers.
My brother has bought a few pairs of the £19 jeans. They retain their colour after washing (i know this seeing as I end up doing all his washing!) and he says they dont seem to wear out as easy as his £70 Levis!0 -
Sun hat - £4 + reduced necklace - 10p + creativity with a glue gun = very cute sun hat that looks much more than £4.100

Can someone help pls. My daughter bought some jeans in Primark in Sheffield at the weekend and has picked up the wrong size (an 18 on a 12 hanger!). She can't find the receipt anywhere, would they exchange them without it? All the tags are in place and they're still in the Primark bag.

Can't tell re. quality as I've never had a successful purchase - have bought a few pairs of men's jeans and they've always been very small for sizes and have had to take them back. Don't buy them anymore. Advice: try them in store. Unfortunately OH is a shop-a-phobe...0 -

I would love one of the maxi dresses but whole dresses are longer than me. I got a nice dress/tunic £7 and 2 beach towels reduced for £10 to £6
I did also get some harem trousers but they are going back as they look like i have shatt myself lol
Excalty the same reason my genie knickers (not from Primark) are going back this weekend :rotfl::rotfl:
I got a maxi dress from there for my hols (brown and black pattern, jersey type material) and just tacked up the hem to see how the lenth was on a night out (took it up about 5cm), then bought some hemming tape (the iron on stuff) to take it up properly when I get time. Still cost under £20 all in all, so if you find one you really like, it can be worth itFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

I love this thread! I haven't been on MSE for ages but this thread has got me re-addicted!
My husband came with me to the Bristol Primark on Sunday for last minute shop for cruise in 2 weeks time.
He bought 2 pairs of the mens linen trousers £8 each, they fit him really well, though have to say they are quite a slim fit compared to the ladies ones.
A pair of suede desert boots in sand, they were £15 but real suede and look the business on.
A pair of the black canvas shoes £5 (the coloured ones were reduced to £2).
A checked shirt and tie reduced to £3.
He did try the chinos on as well but they weren't a very good fit, he did like the tobacco but they didn't have his size in that colour.
I got 2 of the oven gloves but no aprons left, and a white oversized scarf for £4, and 2 pairs of the £2.50 sandals.0 -
Just thought I'd let people know of a couple of shortages. White linen are unavailable for them to order in (or so was told a week or so ago) and a lot of the vest tops at the moment too. Not great with summer still to arrive.0
