  • Tara747, it's usually best to pop in during the morning and definitely before lunchtime!! The queues att lunchtime are a nightmare. Happy shopping. I'm going to try and NOT go tomorrow but I"m working in town and like I said I HAVE to pass it on my way home. I will be strong and resist!!

I'm quite pleased with the quality of the t-shirts this year but have had my second pair of Primark jeans fall apart on me (literally the waistband came apart from the main section). Although they are only £8-10 it is a waste. My £19 sale jeans from Boden last year are still going strong, and I've just bought a new pair for £15 in the White Stuff sale so shall avoid Primark denim from now on!

I always find that my primark denim outlast more expensive denim! topshop always goes thread bare on me.

The Lakeside store had loads of the Lemon dress in today, and the Orange one. Near the entrance by the lifts from outside.
It's been extended into what was Lillywhites and is HUGE now. It still only has 3 floors though :D.

Loving the fact they go up to size 20 now.

Manchester may be 'only' 3 floors, but my sad knowledge of all things stupid tells me Manchester IS the biggest in the country (even bigger than Oxford St, London one) at 100,000 sq ft!!!

That is until the new one is built at the other end of Oxford Street in London (planned to be 120,000 sq ft)

I second linen trousers, mine always wear between the legs but the Primark ones have always lasted longer for me than others (e.g River Island ones lasted only a few weeks last summer). And they do soften up as they are worn and washed.

Are there any other versions of the lemon dress? I love the style of it but I really don't like the print!

The lemon dress does seem to come up a little small I bought the same style in a pink floral print expecting it to fit fine due to the elasticated back but primark are so damn tight with their fabric! I think they only put elasticated backs to save putting in a zip which costs more money and takes workers longer than rouching the back. It is absolutely gorgeous though I saw a similar style in dorothy perkins for about £40 so the primark one is a steal, I couldnt find it locally and didnt fancy the trip to london so I bought it off ebay, it came today and i love it to bits I want to go out tonight just to wear it :D Maybe will get the orange print one too

Could you post a photo of the pink floral one? :D x
  • I was looking for some jogging bottoms the other day, they were 4 quid but I found a pair exactly the same amongst the pile that said 3 quid. They scanned at 4 but the bloke got the manager to come over and take a pound off for me. Saying that, I got home and tried them on and they're far to baggy for jogging. They're the wide leg ones.
