This is a blast from the past! I used this site from around 1999-2005 I think.Whether we win or lose, that we played at all was a winning decision.2011 wins £12,2922012 wins ...Thank you to all who post on here!!!! :A0

Should this be here? Thought it was only for comps or thats what some who are replying and bumping have been quick to point out to others before, or is it another of those 1 rule for 1 and another for another? Suppose ill be the bad guy for pointing this out but hey ho if i didn't then no one would!0

No it shouldn't be here, no doubt it will be moved by a BG shortly, it's not a case of 1 rule for 1 and 1 rule for another it's just that the BG's haven't noticed it yet
I don't think your the bad guy for pointing it out but most MSE'rs know that the thread is in the wrong place and will be moved by a BG and that it's just a matter of time and thats why nobody has bothered to make comment0 -
Was my first comping site before I discovered Loquax, then here :rotfl:Also had another username on thereSECRET TO WINNING PRIZES

If you see it in your mind, you're going to hold it in your hand.

Not wanting to make to big a deal of it ,just that the last few times something has been posted here by 'Newbies' or whoever it is literally minutes after some are pointing out the rules and posting links that validate their post ,yet when its something they seem to be wanting to reply to they don't do the same or complain about themselves bumping the post. Bit like double standards to me but know for sure it isn't the first time and no doubt it won't be the last. Will leave it there ,just wanted to point it out and maybe those who do jump on the next vote request or whatever may think first.:)0 -

Starting comping by doing postal comps then moved to uk.rec.competitions then Loquax then prizefinder then MSE
remember when I first started doing the comps pre internet days I used to spend hours, just looking to find the answer to 1 comp in the local library
but in them day's it was worth spending hours looking for the answer's to comps because you had more chance of winning
now you can find out the answer's in a matter of seconds there is less chance of winning unless you enter comps by the hundreds or thousands
now everbody is doing online competitions we probably would have a greater percentage of success if had the time and patience to do postal comps however this would be outweighed by the cost of the postage stamps - have you seen how much they are these days :eek:0 -

But you are making a big deal of it!
Chill out it's Sunday
I have PM'd a BG to move the thread to Comps discuss
Update: PM sent to Glad
Best of Luck0 -
Just wanted to add Chelsea that I do in actual fact agree with you, newbies have an excuse for posting in the wrong place
but when a seasoned MSE member
deliberately post's in the wrong place then it is quite inexcusable and that member should then be roasted, especially if the said post is made on a Sunday :rotfl:0 -
