Big squishy hugs dor dusty - as everyone says it puts stuff into perspective.....
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j
  • big hugs for Dusty and as has been said what a brave lad, I shall light a candle for him and one for your friend who's moved on.

Kazm and any one else who's poorly feel better soon, take it easy :)

haven't seen ShySarah for a while? is she all stuck into work?

kazwookie I use my old chopping boards for crafty bits, last one went in the candle making kit so I could chop wax colours without getting it all over the counter or the table (it's a git to get off) I've got an off cut that I use just for garlic, and back to crafty I have one in my silver clay kit as I'm not confident on it's toxicity so I dont like it on my table (I mean who know's what the stuff is in there that burns off when you fire it) I spose the next one will be for my fimo - but that might leave interesting textures on the clay?? They have been known to make BBQ kindling as well ;) (go great with egg box firelighters, no chemicals needed - food tastes better)

Right, Chili eaten and no ill affects :T even after a horsey lesson so THANK YOU :) for your advice everyone :)

DH is off work for 2 days and has (at this time of the morning!!!) commenced on our Toots list. He's currently up a ladder clearing out the guttering.
To be followed by cleaning the PVC out there, sanding and painting fascia boards, cleaning the outside windows.
    I'll be doing more sanding
    taking a food audit
    probably more sanding
mucking out that medicine cupboard (I always mean to when its on the list)
and if I finish the sanding I'll be oiling.
Cars going in for a service so I'm stuck at home, might as well get some jobs done.
DH wants to go up to the stable yard and help with their rat/rabbit problem (if he does sort rabbits, that'll be another gorey job for me! but rabbit pie, which I like :D)
but if we're going up there I'll insist we take the bikes and we'll go ride out on the ridgeway.
(no seriously, 14st 2. I was that when preg, that when comfort eating through my grief, that now been dieting for 2 months - real calorie control. I walk mutts, I horse ride, I bike ride, we walk, I do DVD's, I do wii fit, we do flipping Canix! how am I still the same weight! Only difference is I add 6lb's over night and then drop it again in one wodge. I'm starting to think my scales are mental!) Sorry - dunno where that came from :rotfl:

Right I'll try to hit the list as well as me

Wondering if I need to invest in some new scales - I do have normal and small 'spring' ones, but you do have to get straight on to the face to read accurately IYKWIM. My back and eyes are seriously tempted by digital ones.

    morning ladies

    hope you are all ok
having new kitchen and bathroom fitted so whole house is a mess,

what i have noticed already however is that i have loads more storage space in the kitchen so that i good and pleased with that

i think they are doing the last messy job today but i am also out most of the day so that is good!

will clean the inside of the cupboards this eve and start putting stuff away everything in the kitchen should have a place

i am going to have a go at shabby chicing it although its a fairly modern kitchen (plain white with slight sheen cupboards black worktops white tiles and will be white walls until i choose a colour and repaint)

cant wait for it to be finished so i can get house in order again (well it wasnt in order in the first place but still!!)
