Evening all
No internet all day and a busy day anyhow. I went to my friend's funeral which was heart wrenching when her 11 year old son stood up and read a poem and then dissolved in grief. Rest of the day has been a mussy mix of parent interviews and governor training. Feel emotionally drained and wide awake at the same time.
I have an early governor meeting tomorrow and a whole folder of info I should digest before then but right now my 9 year old needs a snuggle.
Hoping for a better day tomorrow. Did clean all the downstairs windows and wash the cat bedding.
Hugs all round xxxThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Dusty -it does give you a sense of perspective about what really matters. My heart goes out to her family. Glad I frittered the afternoon in the park with my boys rather than cleaning or working.

Although the LR will need a going over again tomorrow as their is dog hair everywhere."Let your boat of life be light, pack only what you need- A homely home and simple pleasures, one or two friends worth the name, someone to love and someone who loves you, a cat, a dog, a pipe or two enough to eat, enough to wear and a little more than enough to drink, as thirst is a dangerous thing" Jerome k.
