Morning all
Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers. Janet was the mother of 3 lovely boys, aged 9, 11 and 14. To see them all sit bravely through the service and then go and touch their mother's coffin and walk away to face the world and the rest of their lives was one of the saddest moments I have ever witnessed. I feel for her parents too, what a dreadful time for them all.
Early start here as I had a Governor's meeting first thing. Just recharging with a cuppa and a biscuit (I don't even like biscuits so no idea why I'm eating them) and then I'm going to cycle to town to run some errands and do my MS job. So glad I got ahead with the flying this week, aim todays is simply to clean the stuff on my desk and then the family room is done. I was going to do DH office too but that can wait another week as the sun is shining I intend to spend a little time potting up my dahlias and sowing some seeds. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Morning
I have not done much flying at all this week, as my dd1 and dd2 are off on hols already.
In their wisdom they decided at age 6 and 11 to swap bedrooms. The 6 year old had the bigger romm and now trying to squeeze all her stuff into the smaller room. Older daughter delighted needless to say with whopping big room. Youngest used to being at the back of the house where the sun comes round later in the day has been up since 6.45 with the sun coming into her room and cars/vans going down street. Suppose it will jsut take some getting used to. My bedroom seems to have piles of stuff in it that no-one wants in their rooms and clothes that are to big and small.
Will be spending the rest of the week trying to sort it out.
Ladies, never let your children change rooms on a whim, it needs to be planned like a military operation.
Off upstairs after I have hung out the washing and washed the dishes that the dishawasher didn't seem to manage.Sealed pot challenge member no 1057

hello everyone
dustykitten - brought a tear to my eye just reading that. dd is 8 and it's just unthinkable...
grumswifie - oh no, can imagine all the extra clutter from swapping rooms! does 6 yr old regret it with her smaller room?
its inspiring seeing others doing flylady! I'm on babysteps so today doing the normal dishwaher, washing machine, errands, shopping, but putting in a bit extra for decluttering - timer is on! 15 mins x 3 in different rooms then stop.
found it hard to start this morning but I just made myself do it!2012 wins: kids tattoos, Rombouts tea towel, ASDA garden Jenga, belt & necklace (Damart, twitter), celebration cake (school raffle), Don't Laugh board game (Girls&Co magazine), tickets to Creative Hobbycraft show (Scrap365), £5 M&S voucher, BigHedz toy, Special K red lipstick, £10 garden centre voucher, £50 high st vouchers (twitter) ...0 -
Hi everyone,
I feel better today so I've started with the things I missed yesterday. The kitchen cupboard fronts are done and the large appliances cleaned and oiled.
I've go a plumber here now though so anything with water is a bit of a problem. I'll do the bathrooms when he has gone.0 -
towels off the line and folded..
3 baskets of washing gathered up from the girls bedroom floor.. I am NEVER going to catch up with this.. I may just cry.. 90% of it is underwear and school uniform.. no wonder they have none left anywhere!
My hayfever is horrendous and I have an awful sore throat to go with it.. I am NOT a happy bunny!
Squeak was up at 5 for a feed and complained when I put her back to bed.. TOUGH! She is tired this morning but is busy shredding a pack of wipes.. why do they love doing that so much?
My bag is just about sorted for the weekend at his mothers... and I have sorted Squeaks stuff just not taken it upstairs to put in the bag. I am all organised and stuff..
S'pose I should go hang out the 3 WM's of wet stuff I have to go out and refeed the appliances.. all of them
